Randy Vuxta is an American football Wide receiver in the Developmental Simulation Football League, who currently plays for the Tijuana Luchadores. Prior to selection in the 2034 DSFL Draft (S19), he played at University of Hawaii-Honolulu in Division II.

Early Years

Randy Vuxta was born at Honolulu State Hospital on August 22, 2014. He was born to Rachel Vuxta and Derek Vuxta. Derek was Randy's high school football coach, and instilled the love of the game from a young age. Randy started out in peewee ball, playing QB and S. As he grew older, Randy began to lean towards running and receiving the ball. In high school, Randy set school records in rushing yards and receiving yards, as well as total touchdowns. Randy played for the Honolulu High Leis, being a starter in his sophomore year. Randy would then go on to become a phenom, only to suffer a PCL tear in his junior year, spending the rest of his junior season and half of his senior season recovering. After the injury, no Division I school would offer Randy a scholarship. Randy went on to accept an offer at University of Hawaii-Honolulu playing Division II football.

College Career

As a true freshman, Randy made an immediate impact for UHH. In his first start, Randy had eight receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. He added 25 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. This would be the beginning of a good campaign for Randy, as he would go on to post 631 receiving yards on 50 receptions for 13 touchdowns. The Honolulu's were first-round exits in the postseason.

In his sophomore season, Randy was able to post his highest receiving yards with 868 yards with 72 receptions and 9 touchdowns. The Honolulu's would go on to win the championship at the end of the season.

In his junior year, Randy would have 836 receiving yards on 68 receptions and 14 total touchdowns. Randy's college team made it to the semifinals in his last year, losing to the eventual champions Iowa Tech. Randy ended his college career setting records at University of Hawaii-Honolulu with 190 receptions, 2335 yards, and 21 receiving touchdowns. Randy is fifth in total rushing touchdowns with twelve, and was even able to put up 3 special teams touchdowns. Randy chose to enter the DSFL draft after his third year, saying he has done all he needed to at the collegiate level.

DSFL Career

DSFL Draft

Randy entered the 2034 DSFL Draft (S19) as a projected mid-draft selection due to not boasting the elite level of speed generally favored in the league. Before the draft, Randy was seen creating a bond with fellow rookie Dre Uzond, even going on record saying that Dre is the best cornerback in the draft. The two seemed to have developed a friendly rivalry. Randy was also seen praising running back Darrel Williams and asking for advice from some of the wide receivers around the league, such as Sweet James-Jones.

Randy was selected in the second round, pick six to the Tijuana Luchadores. "It's the only time I've been happy about a pick six," Randy said with a laugh.

Dre Uzond Scandal

Randy and Dre had developed a great sense of chemistry, even though the two did not play together. The two seemed to form a rivalry to push each other to the highest level, as both had come back from extremely horrible injuries to make the league. Even during training camps, Randy and Dre were seen tweeting each other for best of luck. Right before their week one match-up, Uzond would find himself in a scandal involving inappropriate Disney material, supporting Nazism and legalization of murder. After these claims came out, Randy went out on record stating "I am shocked to see these comments coming out from Dre. The man is a top talent on the field, however I cannot support someone who holds these beliefs. Dre and I are no longer friends, and I do wish he will get some help. Take a step away from the game and come back when you are healthy." The next day, Dre Uzond retired, playing zero games (due to resims) for Portland.

Regular Season

Randy Vuxta ended his first and only season with Tijuana with 63 receptions, 731 receiving yards and 8 receiving touchdowns. This lead the Tijuana Luchadores to the post-season and a (11-3) record. Randy lead the league in touchdown receptions, developing into a true red zone threat for quarterback Avon Blocksdale Jr.

Post Season

The Tijuana Luchadores were able to secure home field advantage throughout the playoffs. In their first game, the Luchadores ended up beating the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. They went on to face Minnesota Grey Ducks in the Ultiminus. This contest sadly did not go in Randy's favor, as he was left without a TD and the team lost to the Grey Ducks. Randy would end the season with over 200 TPE earned and having led the league in receiving touchdowns. He would enter the post season as the second highest ranked prospect, and was predicted to go as a top five pick in the upcoming NSFL draft.

NSFL Career

NSFL Draft

Randy Vuxta entered the NSFL Season 20 Draft ranked pretty high up due to his activity around the league and production on the field, with several mock drafts having him in the top three, if not the top five. As the night began, Randy Vuxta's teammate and good friend Kyle Idelwyld was drafted first overall to Austin. Randy Vuxta was congratulated his teammate on being the first pick, but didn't have to wait much longer to hear his own name called as Randy Vuxta was drafted by the Philadelphia Liberty fourth overall.
