Quinton Crash (born December 25, 2021) was an American football wide receiver. He played college football for School of Hard Knocks (SHK).

Early years

Quinton Crash was originally born in Los Angeles, California but was immediately adopted at the hospital and moved to the frozen Canadian Territory of Nunavut to retired Polar Bear farmers Wanda and Gregory Crash. Quinton is the much younger biological brother of ISFL Cornerback Mervin Leonard who has starred in the league for the past 10 years. Growing up Quinton had little contact with his brother Mervin but followed his career closely and always dreamt of one day following in his footsteps. Early on in his life Quinton showed incredible athletic promise excelling in any sport he participated in. Quinton holds Nunavut Territory high school records for numerous track and field events including the 100 meter dash and long jump and was even offered a tryout with the Canadian National Men's Track and Field Team following his high school gradutaion. Quinton first had the opportunity to play football in the 7th grade where he quickly stood out from his counterparts. Throughout high school he continued to develop and was even referred to as the "Next Great One" in a Sports Illustrated article published covering athletes in Canada's northern region. While in high school Quinton played several positions including Wide Receiver and Cornerback.

College career

"Coming out of high school there was little fanfare surrounding Quinton. Although he excelled in all athletics in his local high school region, especially football, scouts pay little attention to athletes located in the Canadian Territories. Quinton's high school football coach, Cooter Bigsby, happened to be a retired ISFL player agreed to assist Quinton in reaching out to various post secondary institutions. With Cooter's help Quinton earned himself tryouts with several major US Colleges including Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame. During a tryout at the University of Alabama the teams head coach, Nick Saban, was quoted as stating, ""This kid is the best high school prospect I have seen in my entire career. How have none of us ever heard of him before?"". Following these tryouts Quinton was offered scholarships from nearly every major US College but after serious consideration he decided to forego College and attend what he referred to as the ""School of Hard Knocks"". Quinton spent the next several years training vigorously 7 days a week with retired ISFL Legend Nate Swift to prepare himself for life a pro football player. Although he did not participate in the NCAA he was invited to participate in the Senior Bowl where he performed incredibly well catching 11 passes for 201 yards and 2 touchdowns in a West team victory. "

DSFL Career

Season 27 Towards the end of Season 27 Crash began garnering significant interest from DSFL franchises who were interested in adding Crash and his rare blend of speed and athleticism to their end of season playoff runs. Crash was subsequently picked up off of waivers by the Minnesota Grey Ducks who were sitting at 6-6 on the season and looking to make a final push in the North Division with only two games remaining in that regular season. Although Crash played a minimal role as a late season addition to the squad he managed to catch his first two passes in the DSFL which immediately added to an already significant hype train that was building surrounding the prospect coming into the Season 28 DSFL draft. Unfortunately Crash and the Grey Ducks were unable to make the playoffs by seasons end losing their final two games but as one local Minnesota Sports News source was quoted as saying, "Crash will be a major ISFL star very soon".

Season 28 At the conclusion of Season 27 there was significant interest in the up and coming prospect Quinton Crash league wide. Although he had put up minimal numbers in his two games at the end of Season 27 his raw speed and athletic ability was evident to all who had seen him play for Minnesota. Based on that many experts predicted Crash would be a sure fire Top 5 selection in the Season 28 draft. On the weekend leading up to the Season 28 draft Crash was arrested in Las Vegas after being involved in an assault at a local bar. Although no charges were pressed this incident caused Crash to slide down the draft board to the Kansas City Coyotes with the 15th overall selection in the DSFL draft. The Kansas City air attack went on to lead the Coyotes to last place in the North Division that season. Although it wasn't the season the team had hoped for Crash once again exemplified the freakish athlete that he was often flashing ability that some would describe as greatness which only further catapulted his stock as the the Season 29 ISFL draft approached.

ISFL Career

Season 29 Although he didn't put up the flashiest numbers during his 16 games played over two seasons in the DSFL Crash was widely regarded as the best Receiver entering the Season 29 Draft and some ISFL Draft Experts even went as far as to crown Crash the top overall prospect entering a loaded draft class. Crash would Ultimately be selected Second Overall in the draft by the New Orleans Secondline who were in the process of grooming a young Quarterback prospect with an aging veteran in his final season with the team and in dire need of some fire power to assist in that process. Crash was immediately called up from the DSFL and slotted in as the number three option for the Slothlisberger and the Secondline. The Secondline would go on to put up a winning season with a 9-7 record Although they would go on to lose in a first round playoff shootout against the eventual Ultimus Champion Silverbacks.

Season 30 Entering Season 30 aging Secondline QB Ben Slothlisberger once again returned to take another shot at an Ultimus Championship and coming off a tough Season 29 playoff loss expectations were high in New Orleans. Unfortunately Crash experienced what many analysts refer to as a "Sophomore Slump" in his second season with the Secondline and as a result the team as a whole was never really able to gain traction especially after a 61-17 beatdown at the hands of the Outlaws in week two. Crash started 8 games on the season and as a result was able to improve his overall stats breaking 1000 yards receiving for the first time in his young ISFL career. Although the stats were a bright spot on the season Season 30 is often remembered for an on the field incident involving Crash and Slothlisberger during there week 16 beatdown at the hands of the Sabercats during which Crash removed his helmet mid play and threw it at the aging QB which once again raised concerns about the young stars maturity.

Season 31 Season 31 of the ISFL was an exciting time for Secondline fans and Crash alike. The team finally called up young DSFL stud QB ReallyInvisible after the retirement of former QB Slothlisberger and many ISFL analysts predicted that Crash would be due for a huge statistical season based on the chemistry and skill the two possessed. For the first time in his career Crash lead the Secondline in receiving yards and put up an impressive 69 catches (Nice) although he was unable to break 1000 yards receiving with the young inexperienced QB at the helm. The team would go on to lose the final 7 games of there season causing them to narrowly miss out on the Season 31 playoffs. Although his stats dropped and the team missed the playoffs Crash exhibited an improvement to his maturity by seasons end being voted a team captain and being nominated for the ISFL Man of the Year award for his work within the New Orleans community.

Season 32 Entering the Season 31 offseason Crash's rookie contract had come to an end and there was speculation he may consider testing the free agent waters. To the surprise to many around the league Crash resigned a 2 year contract with the Secondline proclaiming the team would not only turn things around in the upcoming season but they would, "win it all". Well, much to the disappointment of Crash they did not in fact win it all and once again finished second last in the ASFC with a 6-10 record. Although the team once again struggled Crash continued to assert himself as a top deep threat in the league and once again broke 1000 yards for the second time in his career. Although Crash publicly declared at seasons end that he was excited to return for Season 33 with the Secondline and was determined to turn things around behind the scenes things were beginning to boil over for Crash.

Season 33 Unbeknownst to the Secondline organization there was a lot riding on Season 33 outcome for Crash. Behind closed doors he was upset with the teams production during his past four seasons with the organization and decided prior to the season that unless the Secondline were able to produce on the field and make the playoffs he would test free agency at seasons end. Outside of the organization expectations were also high from fans and analysts alike as Crash and ReallyInvisible were both approaching their respective TPE caps. After a win to open the season the team would go on to struggle mightily finishing with their worst record since drafting Crash in Season 29 only adding to his frustration. At seasons end Crash publicly posted on the media page that he would be exploring any and all free agent interest within the ISFL much to the surprise of the Secondline organization who were unaware of Crash's frustrations.

Season 34 At the conclusion of S33 Quinton announced his intentions of pursuing free agency through the ISFl Media page declaring himself the best all around receiver in the league. As can be expected of a capped out skill position player there was extensive interest from almost all of the teams around the league. Quinton was able to dwindle his list down to two teams that he believed were in a position to put up big offensive numbers and make a run at the Ultimus but in the end settled on the Arizona Outlaws. Although the team fell short of their goal to win the league championship Crash enjoyed his best season as a pro both personally and overall team record. There was instant chemistry between he and his new QB Wendell Sailor which contributed to Quinton leading the team in receiving yards and touchdowns in his first season with the team. However, the team fell short in the AFSC Championship game.
