Philadelphia Liberty

Perry Tucker entered the second draft of the NSFL as a tight end. The Philadelphia Liberty, an expansion team in the 2017 NSFL season, selected Tucker 21st overall and moved him to linebacker. In his first season with the Liberty, Tucker lead the team with 87 tackles while also recording 3 interceptions and 4 sacks. Tucker finished his rookie season with several media defensive player of the week knods, although the Liberty failed to make the playoffs.

Tucker struggled in his sophomore season recording only 59 tackles, 2 sacks and no interceptions for the Liberty. Despite these early troubles he started a tequila brand with Philadelphia teammates Tyler Oles, Paul DiMirio, and Micah Hendrix in the offseason called Toleso. The success of Toleso enabled Tucker to retire after only 9 seasons in the NSFL to his home town of Athens, Ohio

Tucker would earn his first and only Pro Bowl in 2019 after a season where he recorded 66 tackes, 11 tackles for loss, 7 sacks and an interception. Following his first Pro Bowl the Philadelphia Liberty would sign Jaylon Lee during free agency of the 2020 season and Tucker would not see the field again until 2021 when he would record a career high 98 tackles.

In 2022 the Philadelphia Liberty would win their first Ultimas trophy lead by Tyler Oles defeating the Orange County Otters 28-19. Following his championship victory Tucker began to decline due to apathy but continued to start in the Liberty secondary until he retired in 2026.
