Paco McTaco (born January 4, 2010) is an American football running back who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for Arizona State University (ASU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Paco McTaco was born on July 4th, 2010 in Albuquerque New Mexico to parents Roco, and Soco McTaco. Paco opened his own business, "McTacos Tacos," to help support his family. He went on to join the Albuquerque Academy High School football team his Freshman year. Although small in size McTaco quickly became a household name around New Mexico. By the time he graduated from High school he set both the schools, and states, rushing yards and touchdown records. Even so McTaco was only a 3 star recruit coming out of school and only received one division 1 scholarship, Arizona State University.

College career

Freshman Season
Thought to be Redshirt his Freshman season McTaco was called in early as ASUs lead back went down with a leg injury late into spring practice. McTaco made the most of his opportunity leading the way to ASUs 10-3 regular season record and a win in the Fiesta Bowl. In his first year he set the Arizona State rushing touchdown record with 20, had 1,211 rushing yards, and finished second team All Pac-12.
Sophomore Season
His Sophomore season McTaco continued building his resume. After another 10-3 record, 1,489 rushing yards, and 17 touchdowns, McTaco again led the Sun Devils to a bowl victory over LSU in the Peach Bowl. He was selected first team All Pac-12, and second team All-American.
Junior Season
McTaco lit the college football world up in his 3rd season at Arizona State. Setting school records in Rushing with 1,732 yards, touchdowns with 21, and career rushing yards and touchdowns with 4,432, and 58. McTaco and the Sun Devils would go on to an 15-0 undefeated regular season before losing in the first round of the College Football Playoff to Oklahoma. Mctaco finished first team all Pac-12 and First Team All-American, finishing second in the Heisman. Although he was told to return to school for his Senior season by most McTaco couldn't pass up the opportunity to go pro at the chance to take care of his family and live his dreams of playing in the NFL, he declared for the draft.
