Snider Nick (born April 7, 2006) is an American football defensive tackle who is currently unsigned by a professional team.

Early years
Nick Snider was born April 7th, 2006 in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. His father Terrence Snider, a once legendary high school athlete in the Canadian north, put him into a multitude of sports growing up, but it was football where he really excelled.
Snider excelled on the football field at a young age having played a multitude of positions. He was an immediate two way starter as a freshman at Resurrection Catholic Secondary school playing both Tight End and Defensive End. The next three years he was a three time all district defnesive end and the captain of OFSAA champion Resurrection Phoenix a team that dominated the run game, throwing only 25 passes in all three OFSAA championship games combined. Of those 25 passes Snider caught three for touchdowns, one of which was a game winner against perennial super power and in town rival Hespeler Hawks in the OFSAA semi-finals Highly recruited despite being considered to0 light to play defensive end (6'3, 200 lbs) Snider decided to stay home and play for the University of Waterloo. He was one of 4 major players from Resurrection that signed as "the Phoenix 4" bolstering an elite recruiting class for a middling Warriors team.
College career
Snider would see limited playing time as a freshman due to his lighter frame, contributing on special teams and as a situational pass rusher. After his first season Snider worked tirelessly in the gym getting to a more realistic playing weight. Even as a sophomore, Snider was often viewed as a player-coach, he could often been seen on the side-lines with a whiteboard on his lap when he wasn't on the field terrorizing quarterbacks.
Eventually Snider was moved to an interior pass rush role where he recorded 5.5 sacks as a sophomore, this season also saw the University of Waterloo Warriors begin to turn the tides of the program, finishing with a 4-4 record barley missing the playoffs due to tie-breakers.
His junior season saw him commit to bettering himself in the run as he added weight to become more effective on all 3 downs. He finished his junior season with 8.5 sacks, 34 tackles and All-Canadian honours while leading a stingy UW defence to their first playoff birth in over a decade.
As a senior, he continued his dominance by getting 7.5 sacks, 29 tackles and again received All-Canadian honours. He now lead a U of W defence that ranked 2nd in the country. That year the Warriors would fall a game short of the Vanier cup losing to Mount Allison University on a last second play now named "The Mountie Miracle". The 85 yard hook and ladder touchdown would be the final play of his college career.
