Mo Goose Berry' (born January 18, 1997) was an American football linebacker for the Colorado Yeti. He played college football for University of Nebraska (UNL).

Early Years

Mo Goose Berry was born on 6/18/1997. Mo Berry's Parents Bea and Patricia Berry wer killed in a motor vehicle accident when leaving the hospital. Being the only survivor of the crash, Mo Berry grew up with his Grandmother Rose Berry. Mo began his football career his senior year of highschool while showing out well enough with 200 tackles 10 sacks and 2 interceptions. The strong built Berry was recruited to the University of Nebraska after winning Georgia High School Defensive Player of the Year.

On the academic side, Berry stayed an extra year in order to graduate from UNL with a bachelor's degree in criminal justice. Berry stayed he got the inspiration from Charles Tillman who is now a FBI agent. Berry stated in an interview that he would like to either be a FBI agent or a US Marshal. ""I think being a Marshal would be cool cause they're like a linebacker in a sense that they're always reading the room, and at the end of the play they are gonna get their guy no matter what."" Berry was also an Academic All-American.

Freshman year, Mo Berry rarely saw the field yet garnered 5 tackles while still learing the game of football still. Sophmore year the game started to slow down more as he was able to record 38 total tackles as a back up and 1 pass deflections. Junior year Berry finally earned the starting role as the inside backed for the Blackshirt defense totalling 112 total tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 pass deflection as the only bright spot on a down husker season. The breakout Senior year arrived for Berry where he had 161 total tackles breaking the single season team tackle record. More improvement followed with 2 pass deflections 2 interception 3 defensive touchdowns, 4 forced fumbles. Earning first team All Big Ten.
