Eventually, he moved to Oklahoma with his parents, both of whom were under 20 years old when Rotchburns was born, as well ashis younger sister Julia, who was only two years younger than Mike. Mike started playing football late, in High School as a matter of fact, where his school won three state Chmapionships in four years, where Rotchburns played every single game at right guard, up until his senior season, where he rushed for a Oklahoma state record 3,900 yards, surpassing Gerlad Jones' previous mark of 3,776 yards. Rotchburns college process was a long one, his options included Oklahoa, Wisconsin, Maryland, LSU, and a few other mid tier D-1 schools, all of which Akron was Rotchburns' favorite, however Mike ended up choosing to go to LSU, where he just continued his successes. 155 words All good!
College Summary In his first year at LSU, Rotchburns got most of his playing time on the goalline and short yardage situations, however he wasn't normally the one getting the ball. Rotchburns only rushed for a single TD his freshman year, but opened holes all season long for the other Tigers Running Backs. His Sophomore year, Rotchburns got thrown in the rotation as the third running back, by the time the season was up he had moved to #2 on the depth chart. In his Junior and Senior seasons, Rotchburns received honors for best running back in the conference, and was even on the Heisman watch his junior year. Right after his last game seniro year, Mike participated in numerous combines. At these combines he performed exactly as you'd expect a 6.4" 245 pound guy to perform. Running a 4.74 40 yard dash, and pumping out an impressive 31 reps on the bench.
