Mike Zeke Lee (born May 17, 1998) is an American football wide receiver for the Dallas Birddogs of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Mike Lee was born in Allen, Texas to parents Mark and Elizabeth. Lee grew up idolizing the Dallas Cowboys and they were his favorite team in the sport. He also played hockey and basketball, but ultimately decided football was the best use of his superior athleticism. Mike Lee grew up in Allen his entire life and ended up attending Allen High School where he was a 3 Time State Champion with Quarterback Kyler Murray. Lee is cousins with NSFL Hall of Famer Jaylon Lee and former star Linebacker Leighton Lee. He followed in their footsteps to attend the University of Texas. Lee credits these two athletes as influencing him more than anybody else in his life and would go to their houses in the summer to train with the two brothers. He also credits SHL players OJ Simpson and Bale for teaching him how to improve balance and conditioning. Lee was an SMJHL prospect but flamed out.

College career

As a true freshman, Mike Lee took a redshirt and took his time developing behind Devin Duvernay and Collin Johnson at the University of Texas. The following season, Mike Lee took over the lead wide receiver duties as a redshirt freshman and led the team to the Sugar Bowl. The next season, Lee was the most dominant receiver in NCAA history, drawing comparisons to Michael Crabtree and Julio Jones hybrids. Lee led the Longhorns to a College Football Playoff appearance, but the team fell at the hands of Clemson. He decided to come back for a 4th year and led the NCAA in receptions, yards, yards after catch, and touchdowns. Lee was able to lead the Longhorns to the national championship before declaring for the draft. Lee left the school in the top 3 all time of yards after catch and receptions and was atop the school leaderboard in yards and receiving touchdowns. He was also a star returner, having the higher YPR ever.

Professional career

"Mike Lee was drafted to the Dallas Birddogs, an expansion team, in S21. He was the second receiver on the team behind WIlliam Lim, a Korean. In his first season, the Dallas Birddogs went 5-9, missing the playoffs in their inaugural season. Lee had a relatively disappointing year after his college career, posting 28 receptions for 331 yards and 2 touchdowns. Known as a speed demon, his longest catch was 33 yards, a rather underwhelming mark. The receiver showed that he was not quite ready for the leap to the big leagues as there were reports that he was not only slacking in practice, but failing to lead the younger guys through drills. A big scandal arose when this news leaked and Lee was forced to publicly apologize for his lack of training. NSFL teams did not like his inability to lead a team of younger guys, causing a draft day slide. In S22, Mike Lee was sent back down to the Dallas Birddogs for another chance at glory in the DSFL. The team was much better this season, finishing with a 7-7 record. A large improvement over their 5-9 season a year ago. Mike Lee himself blew up and doubled almost everything in his stats. He had 49 catches for 732 yards while averaging almost 15 yards per catch. he proved his explosiveness at the position and how devastating his speed can be. His longest catch was only 35 yards, but he didn end up with 5 touchdowns this season. Lee was nominated for WRoTY and lost out, but it shows his progression from a relative unknowkn in the league to being a guy that is put up for awards against other great candidates. Lee also showed resiliency and leadership in the locker room for a change. Lee also got involved in the movement for Black Lives Matter to promote the equity of his team and his teammates with white men. He got invited to the White House to talk to the president about potential action that the country could take to make the necessary changes. Lee is fully expecting a call up to Yellowknife next season. "

"Mike Lee was drafted to the Yellowknife Wraiths in S22. Lee's cousins, Leighton Lee, and Jaylon Lee, are rumored to have had issues with trusting the Wraiths in the past and were not fans of the system they ran. All was put to rest when Lee signed a 3 year deal with Yellowknife, with a stipulation that he would return to the DSFL in S22. Yellowknife is excited for Lee to eventually come up as they plan on rebuilding their receiving core. Lee will be looked at to replace old man wide receiver Nate Swift and help Cooter Bigsby in the twighlight years of his career. Lee was projected to be a pick in the first 5 rounds due to his pedigree, but he slid through the cracks to the 8th round to everybody's surprise. Will the mock drafts or the scouts be smarter here? Lee publicly responded ""I don't trust idiots who have never played the game."" After being drafted to the Wraiths, Lee was sent back down to the Dallas Birddogs to play another season in the DSFL. It is expected that Lee will be called up to start S23 in the NSFL."
