Lightsout K. Lewis (born January 5, 1997) is an American football linebacker for the Chicago Butchers of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He played college football for East Carolina University (ECU) before going being draft in the 2030 ISFL Draft (S15).

Early years
Lightsout Lewis was born in Newport News, VA and lived in Virginia until the age of 12. He began playing football at the age of 12 and would continue to do so throughout his high school and collegiate career. At age 13, Lewis moved to North Carolina, where he would go on to be a 3 sport athlete at J.H. Rose High School. Standing out on the football field was never an issue for Lewis as he played tight end and middle linebacker at the high school level. L.L. still holds the record for J.H. Rose HS for the most tackles in a high school career at 317. The winner of 2 NCHSAA state championships in football, Lewis also took second place in the 205 weight class for wrestling in his senior year. Before graduating with a 3.7 GPA, Lewis also was able to win 2 state championships as a member of the JHR track team in shotput and the 4x4 relay. Lewis is also a twin. His younger sister (by 3 minutes) was also a standout athlete in 3 sports (Volleyball, Softball, and Track).
College career
As a freshmen at East Carolina University, Lewis played immediately starting on special teams for the first two games of his freshman season before becoming a starting middle linebacker for the Pirates in game 3 against Virginia Tech. This is where Lewis began to garner national attention by finishing the game with 8 tackles, 1 interception and a sack. Lewis would continue his freshman year as the starting middle linebacker and ended the year with 158 total tackles, 1 sack and 2 interceptions. During his sophomore season, Lewis made the move to outside linebacker due to injury and because of speed he was able to excel there as well. Lewis finished his sophomore season with 183 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 3 interceptions (one returned for a TD). Lewis was selected as apart of the All AAC team as a sophomore as an outside linebacker and finished third in voting for the Dick Butkis Award (awarded to the top linebacker in the nation). After making the move to outside linebacker and excelling in such manner, Lewis began his junior year on many watch lists including the Butkis award and Chuck Bednarik Award (best defensive player). In his junior campaign, Lewis had the best statistical year of his career finishing the year with 191 total tackles, 6 sacks, and 2 interceptions. Lewis would go on to win the Dick Butkis award and be selected to the First Team All American Team as an Outside Linebacker. Finishing his college career with over 530 total tackles, Lewis decided to forgo his senior year at ECU and will look to be drafted in the upcoming NSFL draft.
