Lenard Graf (born January 6, 2025) was an American football tight end who was selected third overall in the Season 31 DSFL Draft by the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. He played college football for Oregon Ducks (OD). He was selected as the number one pick in the Season 32 ISFL Draft by the Baltimore Hawks.

Early years

Lenard Graf was born in the countryside near Munich, Germany. He picked up football fairly late, since American Football wasn't as popular as in the US. Lenard Graf had the luck to be near a small countryside team where he could play with a team and start on this journey. His big target was to make it to the US to play in one of the big colleges. Lenard Graf realized that, if he want's to realize his dream, he'd have to switch to a bigger team. He made the switch to the Munich Cowboys. After arriving there he made the permanent switch to Tight End. The position switch elevated his game and after breaking some of the local records a couple US Scouts were slowly picking up on the young german talent. Many Colleges tried to get the German youngster to join them but Lenard Graf ended up picking his favorite College Team, the Oregon Ducks.

College career

As a true Freshman Lenard Graf struggled a lot with the switch to the US. The new challenge forced him to work hard and improve his overall abilities. In his Freshman season Lenard Graf made his debut very late into the season. Lenard Graf said in an interview that the biggest thing he learned in his Freshman Season was the mental part of the game. Not being able to play for the longest time of his career was very challenging. In his 2nd Season Lenard Graf used his offseason to improve his game and fight for the TE1 spot. His efforts were noticed and Lenard Graf's snap count improved more every game. In week 2 he actually got his first Touchdown! Towards the end of the season Lenard Graf earned the TE1 position and he used the following offseason to improve his craft even more and elevate his game to a whole new level. In Year 3 he dominated from the first snap onwards. Even though Lenard Graf was seen as a vertical Threat he was still able to block a lot in the run and pass game. In his final Season with the team he helped them reach the college playoffs but they sadly lost in the semi finals. Lenard Graf hopes to improve his game even further in the big leagues!

S32

Season 32 started out really slow for the first round picks. The expectations were fairly high for Lenard but people also knew he was a 1st seaoson call up. Graf mostly played in the TE2 and WR4 position. Towards the end of the season Graf picked up the slack and started to have really great games. Grafs best game was Week 9 against NOLA. He finished the game with 88 yards. Sadly Graf didn't manage to get a Touchdown this season. The most amazing stat for this season is that Graf's average yardage per catch was 12.2! The end of the season came down to the battle of the Tigth Ends! You can read more in this article: https://forums.sim-football.com/showthread.php?tid=36491. Graf ended up winning the battle of the Tight Ends between himself and Makoa Mahiʻai. Sadly the season didn't go as well for the Baltimor Hawks, but they look forward to S33.

S33

Season 33 started out with a 3-0 for the Baltimore Hawks and Tight End Lenard Graf. After the glorius battle of the Tight Ends at the end of S32, Lenard wanted to step it up this season! During the Season Lenard started to struggle a bit. He had a lot of ups and downs. Baltimore meanwhile stood atop their Division with a 7-1 record. Towards the end of the season Baltimore had a bit of a bad run of form and finished the season 11-5. Which was good enough for the playoffs. Graf had a mediocre sohpmore season, he finished the season with 48 receptions for 543 yards and 5 Touchdowns! After finishing last season without any Touchdowns this was a huge relief for Lenard. In the playoffs Baltimore faced the Chicago Butchers and beat them 23-14. In the NSFC Game they faced the Sailfish and managed to beat them 30-24! In the Final Baltimore had to face the Orange County otters. Baltimore went down early in the game with a lot of turnovers. Graf himself had one fumble in their own half. Baltimore was down 24-0 in the 2nd quarter. Graf had a huge 72 yard TD reception which helped Baltimore catch up and do the unthinkable. Make a comeback! This meant that Baltimore was the S33 Champion and Graf managed to win his first ISFL Title! Graf will work more than ever in the offseason so that Baltimore can win the championship back to back!

S34

Season 34 started out rough for Baltimore. They started the season 0-5! This was followed by a small win streak of 3 games, followed by a losing streak of 3. Graf had a rough start to the season as well, he started out very slowly, it wasn't until Week 8 that he finally found his rythmn, that game he had 6 receptions for 98 yards, 3 Pancakes and 1 Touchdown. This was immediately followed by one of the best performances yet! 7 receptions, 122 yards, an average of 17.4 per catch, 4 pancakes and 1 Touchdown! Sadly the game was already over in the first half after some crucial Turnovers by Baltimore. In Week 14 Graf topped his previous best game of the season with 5 receptions for 117 yards, an average of 23.4, 2 pancakes and 2 Touchdowns! Overall Graf had a decent season, he improved his receptions from 50 to 70, his yards to 805 and his average stayed around 11.5. He improved his yards per Game from 33 to 50. Very big for Graf was that he had 0 Fumbles and 0 sacks allowed! He also improved his pancake number from 23 to 36. Graf also made his first appearance in the Pro Bowl. In the Pro Bowl Graf showed his clutch mentality again with a huge Touchdown in the last minutes of the game to bring the game to Overtime. Where Graf's Team then finally won the game!

S35

After a horrible S34 the team worked hard to improve their performance in S35. Especially Lenard Graf worked very hard in the offseason, trying to improve with every practice. The Season started off well with a preseason record of 3-1. The team was full of hope to have a better start to the season than last season. They managed to beat our the young Yellowknife Team with a solid 40-20 victory! Followed by another good win against Austin. Graf actually set a new personal record with 9 catches that game. The following games were a bit up and down with a loss to Berlin, a win against Colorado, a sad loss versus Chicago and a close victory again Philly. So far the season looked decent, most of the other NSFC Teams struggled this season and no team looked like a clear favorite. Sadly the Baltimore Team hit a bit of a bad run. They finished week 7-9 with 3 losses! In order to still make it into the playoffs Baltimore needed at least 4-5 wins to get to at least 8-8. The team looked good overall with good wins vs strong teams and a close loss to the later champions Honolulu. The Baltimore Hawks secured a playoffs spot in W15 against Colorad. Week 16 was the decider for the #1 seed and Baltimore managed to win against Chicago. Funnily enough, Baltimore had to face Chicago again in the 2nd round of the playoffs. The Baltimore Hawks managed to win the game, with a stellar performance by the defense! Sadly the Baltimore Hawks lost to Honolulu in the Ultimus. They couldn't pull off the upset against a stacked HON Team! Graf had a decent season with finishing on a new personal high 830 yards. The big diffference to last season was that he almost doubled his TD tally. Graf is looking like a good candidate for TEOTY! The ProBowl Selection should be secured as well as the first team award. Graf keeps improving and hopefully he'll break his personal records next season again!
