Lebby Newton (born June 1, 2017) is an American football wide receiver who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Nevada (UNLV) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Lebby grew up in London, England before his father Lubba Newton got offered the job of a life time to go and work in Las Vegas running the MGM Grand casino after years as CEO's of various companies. At the age of just 10 years old Lebby was taken away from his friends, school and everything he's ever known and flown to a forign country to start a new life. Upon arriving it took Lebby a while to make friends as he was always the shy kid then one day during recreational break some other children where playing American football, the quarter back accidently over shot the reciever and the ball was heading towards the fence line, Lebby quickly reacted and made the most impressive catch any of the kids had seen. That was where it all began, he was nagged for weeks to join the highschool team by students and teachers, in his first year he broke every school record for recieveing and took the school to it's first winning season in 25 years, eventually falling short in the state championship game, his success continued all the way through highschool, then the shocking day with over 45 offers, Lebby chose to stay near to his parents and commit to UNLV. Nobody in the football world saw the 5* highschool prospect reciever not going to the power schools.

College career

College was a completely different ball game for Lebby, the man that had all the talent in the world just seemed to fall short when it came to college, nobody knew if it was the scheme or coaching staff, but something wasn't clicking quite right, only in his last year of playing after a full coaching change and a new rookie QB did things change massively for Lebby. In this one year alone after barely hitting 500 yards the previous years, Lebby went on to destroy Ryan Wolfes recieving record (283) by an insane 327 catches but also the reciving yards gaining 3,834 yards in a single season bringing UNLV to being the laughing stock of college football to a ranked team with a real shot of making waves in college football, needless to say they topped the Mountain west conference and managed to make their first bowl game since 2014, where they faced off against ranked 20 Arkansas state, winning the game 34-7 with Lebby having a huge 211 yards with 3 touchdowns, putting him back on scouting boards as if he was back in college again. Some see him as a prospect that needs fine tuning but with worries of his failed years at the start of college.
