Korbin Brown (born October 4th, 2019) was an American football wide receiver. He played college football for University of Southern California (USC).

Early years

Korbin Brown was born in Los Angeles, California on June 5th, 2019 to former NSFL runningback Marquise Brown and singer Camila Cabello. Korbin grew up entirely around football, being that his father was an NSFL legend. From an early age, Korbin wanted to be like his father and play professional football. Korbin attended Calabasas High School and made the varsity team in his freshman year as a wide reciever and a cornerback. He also took snaps at runningback. It was at Calabasa High that his nickname, "Cash", came to fruition. His father, Marquise, said that he would give his son a hard time when they practiced together. "I wanted to make him earn everything. It doesn't matter who his father is, he's going to earn every opportunity he gets no matter what" Marquise said in an interview. Korbin was a standout player on the field, racking up 4053 receiving yards, 198 receptions, and 46 receiving touchdowns in his high school career. Not only did he shine on the field, he also shined in the classroom, graduating with a 4.2 GPA. Brown was scouted by many colleges for both his fantastic resume, and his ties to his NSFL legend father. Korbin commited to the University of Southern California.

College career

Brown spent only one year in college before moving up to the DSFL. He did this for many reasons, but the biggest one being that he didn't agree with how the NCAA treated its college athletes. "The NCAA is a scam", Brown said in an interview with MaxPreps. He wanted to be able to market himself without the limitations that the NCAA set on how their players were able to do so. His father, Marquise, was one of the main factors in his decision to step out of the college game, and supported him in his decision. He decided that he'd show off his talents in the DSFL, entering the league as a free agent at the young age of 18.

Professional career

Korbin Brown started his career with the Dallas Birddogs in S22. He didn't get any catches and was generally just a camp body. He came into the draft as a talented prospect, but fell due to character issues and lack of film from not playing any college ball. However, with the thirty first pick in the S23 DSFL Draft, the Portland Pythons drafted him. He quickly formed relationships, particularly with fellow draftee Mai Fukushu taken with the pick before his. His season was rather unproductive however, racking up only 266 receiving yards on 24 catches and getting only 1 touchdown as the Portland Pythons finished a league worst 5-9. Perhaps his best game came against the Norfolk Seawolves in week 11 when he caught 3 balls for 37 yards. His production was stifled all season by being WR4 behind Videl-San, Marksman, and Snyder. Korbin was hopeful for the coming seasons and continued to develop and train. When asked about his season and his performance in future seasons, Korbin said that he was excited for the upcoming seasons and was glad to be a Portland Python.

"An interesting option who looks like a pure speed receiver who might need some careful coaching to get the best out of him."

Brown entered the S24 draft ranked as the third best wide receiver on the big board and was projected as a third or fourth rounder. He finished off with the best 40 yard dash time of any wide receiver in the draft. At the 39th pick, he was selected by the Austin Copperheads, a team who he had talked with before the draft. Brown was sent down for the next season but would end up as a big part of their future on an aging team.
