Konstantin Selich (born February 19, 2023) is an American football defensive tackle for the Kansas City Coyotes of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years
Konstantin Selich was born to Alex Selich a former ISFL player who was 1st Ballot Hall of Famer and a longtime member of the Yellowknife Wraiths. He was born in small town of Fulda in Germany and then moved quite early in his life to North America as his father was pursuing his ISFL career. Konstantin did spend most of his childhood in Yellowknife, Canada where his father played for the Yellowknife Wraiths after being drafted by the Arizona Outlaws in the S11 ISFL draft. He fell in love with hockey at first and attended quite a few hockey camps as well as playing for a few junior teams in the area but eventually decided to go down the path of a professional football player and follow into the footsteps of his father. He would end up going to Fairview High School in Denver due to his father signing with the Colorado Yeti. At Fairview Konstantin was quite a standout player on the defensive line and even won 2 State championships. At the end Konstantin was rated as a five star recruit coming out of high school with the ability to play anywhere on the defensive line.
College career
Konstantin Selich decided to follow the steps of his father Alexander Selich by also joining the Florida Atlantic University football programm and thanks to him being a five star recruit out of highschool he managed to not have to redshirt his freshman season. In his freshman season Konstantin was one of the anchors for the FAU defensive line with his excellent ability to stuff the run as well as being able to pressure the opposing Quarterbacks. The coaches of FAU decided to use him mostly at Defensive Tackle but would at times also slot him as a Defensive Edge due to Konstantin's excellent versatility on the Defensive Line. Sadly the FAU team didn't have quite a lot of team success due to being plagued by a few injuries to key players. In his sophomore season Konstantin managed to get to backfield quite often resulting in key stops for the FAU team which allowed the team to allow in a Bowl Game finally since compared to the last year they managed to stay mostly healthy. The bowl game was a heartbreaker though as the kicker missed the game winning field goal. In his junior season Konstantin actually slightly regressed in terms of invidual success and the team didn't manage to appear in a bowl game due to having to start a freshman Quarterback that simply couldn't handle the big expectations that were placed on the team. After his Junior season Konstantin decided to declare for the DSFL draft.

Professional career
DSFL career
Konstantin Selich was picked up by the Bondi Beach Buccaneers from waivers and saw some playing time with recording 17 Tackles in 4 games. Bondi made it to the playoffs but lost in Round 1 which meant that Konstantin would enter the following DSFL Draft. He told the GMs in interviews about his plans to only play 1 full season in the DSFL and try to earn a roster spot on a ISFL team in season 30 as a true rookie. This lead to him slightly sliding a bit in the draft together with the fact that Defensive Tackle wasn't quite as important of a need to most teams. In the end Kontantin was picked in Round 3 of the Season 29 DSFL Draft by the Kansas City Coyotes which are the same team his father played for. Konstantin is quite excited to help the Coyotes to a great season before entering the season 30 ISFL draft.
