Koda "Little Bear" Adok (born January 1, 1999) is an American football cornerback for the Palm Beach Solar Bears of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for Florida State University (FSU).

Early years

Koda had a different upbringing than most players in the DSFL or NSFL, as he was orignially raised as a Native American. His father's name was Mato, meaning bear, so his parents named him Koda, meaning little bear. Koda is the oldest of five children so he knows how to work with others well. Koda's parents died when he was nine years old to a fire, that's when Koda and his brothers were adopted by a family in Fort Meade. Koda started middle school at Fort Meade middle school. It was there that he started playing football when one of his friends conviced Koda to try out with him. Koda went out not expecting to make the team, but was surprised to be named one of the starting wide recievers for the team. Koda became a three year starter at middle school, and once he got to high school, his coach had him try out playing cornerback for one practice during his sophomore year. Koda really enjoyed it, and the coach was impressed at how good he was at it, so Koda became a cornerback. He got offers from great schools, and ultimately decided on going to Florida State University like his foster parents did.

College career

When Koda first got to Florida State University, he wasn't able to play much in his first year, as they already had a few great CBs who were going to declare for the draft after the season, so Koda only played a few downs a game. He ended the season with 10 tackles, 1 interception, and 2 pass deflections. Once he got to his sophomore year, he was a starter for the team. When asked what the highlight of the year was for him, he said it was when he got a pick-six to seal the win against the school's rival, University of Florida. The team won the ACC championship against Virginia Tech, and won the Orange Bowl against Ohio State 35-17, where Koda got 3 tackles, 1 pass deflection, and a forced fumble. The team ended the season 11-2 and number 5 in the polls. Koda finished the season with 56 total tackles, 7 passes defended, 5 interceptions, and 2 forced fumbles. Koda's junior year, the team had high expectations as they were bringing in some great new talent, and Clemson, the other team that was expected to do well in the ACC, lost their starting QB for the season due to injury. Throughout the season, Koda and his team shined, winning games by large margins. The team finished the regular season undefeated, and had a rematch with rival Miami in the ACC Championsip. The team started off slow, allowing Miami to go up 10-0 in the first quarter. The team ended the second quarter with a field goal though to reduce the defecit to only seven. Once the team came back out for the second half, the offense marched down the field and was able to tie the game at ten. Miami's offense took the field looking to answer back, but Koda read their QB's eyes and got an interception. He started running back towards the end zone but got hit in the knee by one of the Miami players, spraining Koda's knee, and knocking him out of the game. FSU was able to win the game and go on to the national championship, which they were able to win. The team finished 14-0, and after that season, Koda declared to go pro.
