Early years

Born to a desolate family yearning for someone that could actually cover a number one wideout. KC's dream manifested itself in Kacey Dream, here to shutdown corners and look damn good doing it. Unfortunately due to neglect and misuse he was taken from his poor family who will continue to yearn for that player who can actually cover even an undrafted rookie wideout at the bottom of the depth chart. Kacey ended up being adopted by a nice New England family, because of course that's wheer all good corners end up eventually. He was heavily recruited out of high school but he chose Penn State so that he could remain close to his family and the New England Clam Chowder he had grown to love.

College career

Penn State knew they were getting a five start recruit in Kacey Dream but they didn't realize they were getting the five star recruit of five star recruits. As just a true freshman Kacey covered entire sides of the field on his own, he was a true island. After he intercepted the first 6 passes thrown his way that season teams stopped throwing his way altogether, leaving him with only those 6 interceptions his entire college career as no quarterback ever dared target his side of the field for fear of Kacey earning them ducets.

Professional career

DSFL career

In his first game in the DSFL he joined the Palm Beach Solar Bears, who picked him up off waivers after what had been a dismal season so far. Little did they know that Kacey was here to keep the dream alive. In his first real in-game action with the Solar Bears he played his usual game and he let the league know why you don't target the Dream. With twelve tackles, four passes defended, 2 picks including a pick six dagger to ice the game Kacey Dream single handedly won the game for The Solar Bears, ending the season on a high note after so much disappointment. After the game the General Manager Hall Monitor was ecstatic and immediately began erecting a Greatest Of All Time statue in Kacey Dream's honor. Unfortunately because Palm Beach was forced to immediately relocate to Myrtle Beach after the season the statue was torn down almost as soon as it was done. At the end of the season Kacey Dream was swooped up in the draft by the Portland Pythons, killing the hopes and dream of Hall Monitor and Myrtle Beach in the process. However his legacy and memory will live on there forever.

Despite having to leave Palm Beach, Kacey had a fantastic time with the Portland Pythons. He came to the perfect place, joining Bobby Boucher and Willie B. Hardagain in bolstering a defense to match the best passing attack in the league. AFter a stellar season in which Kacey had 79 tackles, one forced fumble, 4 interceptions, 15 pass deflections and a defensive touchdown he went on to win Defensive back of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year. And to top it all off he ended up hoisting the Ultimini trophy at the end of the season, capping off a nearly perfect season.

At the end of this season, Kacey Dream came home when he was traded to the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers as part of their rebuilding project. After being the worst team in the league the previous season the Buccaneers had a lot to prove and oh boy did they show up. After going 2-12 in S18, Myrtle Beach went 10-4 in S19 and had a really good shot at winning it all after beating Tijuana twice in the regular season. They did end up falling to Tijuana in the playoffs but not before posting one of the biggest turnarounds in league history. Along the way Kacey Dream posted one of the most dominant defensive seasons in DSFL history, basically guaranteeing another Defensive Player of the Year award and putting him in serious conversation for the Most Valuable Player award. AS A DEFENSIVE PLAYER. His statline in S19 finished as 59 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, one fumbled recovered, eight interceptions, 22 pass deflections, and three defensive touchdowns.

Total Career DSFL Stats: 151 tackles, 3 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovered, 14 interceptions, 41 pass deflections, 5 defensive touchdowns {{

NSFL career

Kacey Dream came into the NSFL as a rookie fresh off of winning the DSFL MVP award. He entered into the Orange County Otters loaded secondary and was slotted in as nickel back. This was a position that Kacey had never played before and it took so time for him to adjust to it. After posting a historical season and career in the DSFL this season was a coming to early for the young cornerback. While he did lead all NSFL cornerbacks in tackles he failed to get and interception for the first season of his career. He also only had a paltry five pass deflections. However he is slotted to potentially move into the free safety position this coming season where he should see a great deal more success. After this solid yet unspectacular season the sky is the limit for Mister Dreamy. In his spare time he went back to his roots in Myrtle Beach where he helped coach the young defensive backs there. Coining the nickname "No Fly Zone" they were part of the greatest defense in DSFL history. There numbers include Prince Vegeta, first overall pick and Kacey's new teammate with the Otters, HeHateMe PickSix, fourth overall pick, Rotticus Scott, second round pick, and former teammates Warren Stephens and Jamie Nkiah. With the way that this unit and the rest of the incredible Myrtle Beach defense shined all season Kacey Dream showed that he has a future in coaching after his illustrious career as a player is over.

Season twenty one is where Kacey Dream really started to come into his own as an NSFL player. He wasn't putting up the crazy stats that he had in the DSFL but he moved from nickel back to cornerback and he was almost instantly a stand out player. He came down with zero interceptions on the season but this is partially due to the fact that opposing quarterbacks were afraid to throw in his direction a lot of the time. This is shown by the fact that his tackles dropped from 96 to 39 so he was being targeted a lot less in his true position. He also had 17 passes defended which was tied for fifth most in the entire league. He just missed out on being voted to the pro bowl and was also recently spotted on the top 50 list of players coming into season 22. The future is definitely bright for the Dream. He helped form part of the best defense in the league in season twenty one including far and away the best secondary. The Orange County Otters claimed the number one overall seed in the regular season before barely falling in the conference championships to the eventual Ultimus champions, the New Orleans Secondline. This game went into overtime and was decided by a mere field goal. On the side Dream continued his coaching career in Myrtle Beach. He orchestrated the defensive scheme and coaching and helped lead them to their first Ultimini championship under their new branding. The Dream had a great season overall and plans on having an even better one in the coming season.

Kacey Dream has been a disappointment to himself for the majority of his NSFL career. He had such a prolific DSFL career that his pro career has been downright stagnant by comparison. He did have somewhat of a bounce back year in season 22. He broke the longest recorded NSFL interception drought of 31 games including the playoffs. He did so in spectacular fashion by returning it for a touchdown and sealing a week 2 victory over the New Orleans Secondline in a revenge game from the season 21 playoffs. He followed this up with one more interception on the season. However the number of passes he defended this season took a significant dip. In fact other than the two interceptions season 22 could be considered a down year for the Dream on just about every account. This is most likely attributed to the fact that the Orange County Otters had one of the very best defenses in the league and stats are hard to come by. However Dream is determined to take his game to another level. He has take a step back from coaching the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers in the DSFL and has taken a step back from the game in general. He has taken up yoga and is determined to not only refocus himself but to rediscover himself. Big changes are in store for the dynamic young player in the coming season. The Dream is no longer going to be a dream, it's going to become the reality. Once this dream has been realized it will no longer be the same man taking the field for the Otters
