JoJo Burr-Kirven (born April 14, 2000) is an American football linebacker for the Tijuana Luchadores of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Washington (UW) before being drafted by the Tijuana Luchadores in the 2029 DSFL Draft (S14).

Early years

Burr-Kirven attended Compton High School, in Compton California. He was awarded the honor of all CIF First-Team as a Sophomore, Junior and Senior. As a senior at CHS he had amassed 23 Division 1 offers, and was ranked #10 in the country by 24/7 sports, and rated the best ILB in the nation. Burr-Kirven waited until National Signing Day to announce where he'd be furthering his education and playing football at the next level. During NSD he had 4 hats placed in front of him. University of Washington, Stanford University, University of Miami and University of North Carolina. After speculation throughout the entire season that the academic and athletic scholar, would be taking his talents to Palo Alto we're proven wrong when he opted to attend University of Washington it caused an uproar in the UW war room and the entire PAC-12 as a whole. Chris Petersen knew he got a "OKG" (Our Kinda Guy) with the commitment of Burr-Kirven.

College career

Burr-Kirven played at Washington from the years 2025-2028. Burr-Kirven opted to Redshirt his Freshman year at UW, due to the large amounts of depth within the front 7. By the time he was a Redshirt Freshman he would play in 4 of 12 regular season games and achieved his first tackle of his career against Sacramento State. A game the Huskies went on to win 49-0. Burr-Kirven had 6 Tackles including 2 TFL's. As time went on, Burr-Kirven would go on to be apart of four bowl games in four years with the Huskies. The first bowl game being in 2026, the Zaxby's Heart of Dallas bowl, a game in which UW would go on to defeat Southern Mississippi 44-31. In the following year the Huskies saw a large amount of success, finishing the regular season 12-1 and a Pac-12 Conference Championship. With this being the case UW finished 4th in the CFP voting. Giving them a spot in the 2027 NCAA College Football Playoff. The Huskies would go on to play #1 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide in the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl. Unfortunately, they would be defeated by a score of 21-7. Furthermore, in 2027 Burr-Kirven really solidified his position on the team as a Redshirt Junior. Not only would he go on to finish his degree in Media Studies, but he would also be named First String MLB at the start of this season. UW continued their success into the 2027 season finding themself in another big bowl game. Although it wasn't a chance at redemption in the CFP, they we're still able to finish the season 11th in the country, giving them a spot in a NY6 bowl that being the Fiesta Bowl, coming up against Penn State. Unfortunately, once again the Huskies would fall just nearly short, essentially running out of time as they would be defeated by the score 35-28. Burr-Kirven also finished his Redshirt Junior season by being named to the All Pac-12 2nd team and declaring his intent to return for a redshirt Senior season. Burr-Kirven balled out his Senior year finishing with the MOST tackles in the entire country totaling 176 tackles, 94 of which were solo tackles. He would also go on to record 2 INT's during this season. By regular seasons end, he would be named P12 DPOTY as well as receive all Pac-12 First Team Honors and Pac-12 Academic Honors. University of Washington still finished this season with a succesful 9-3 regular season record, and would go on to play in the 2027 PAC-12 Championship, the 2nd time in JBK's career with UW. They would go ahead and come out on top over the Utah Utes with a mere 10-3 victory, sending them to the Grand Daddy of them All, the Rose Bowl. A game in which was a blowout until the 4th quarter. A blowout in favor of their opponents, the Ohio State Buckeyes. However, in the 4th quarter the Huskies would manage to make it a competitive game scoring 20 points in the 4th quarter, however once again it was to little to late, the Dawgs would go on to lose that game 28-23.
