Jimmy Frackerson (born January 11, 1999) is an American football defensive end who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for Villanova University and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Frackerson was born on January 11, 1999, in Villanova, Pennsylvania, to parents Alisha, a body-builder, and Grant, the president of a local drilling company. Frackerson played basketball from age four to age 13, but switched to football in high school. He is the first of three sons, and was expected to succeed his father in the drilling company, but he has stated publicly that he has no intentions of inheriting the company and will focus on his sports career.

Frackerson attended Radnor Senior High School, where he was a four-year letter-winner in football and also lettered in basketball, baseball, and track and field. He played mostly tight end and defensive end, filling up for quarterback in one game. He earned the Mr. Pennsylvania Football Award his senior year, and first-team All-State, All-County, All-Area, and All-Conference selections as tight end and defensive end. He was also named the team's MVP. During his senior year, Frackerson accumulated a total of 500 receiving yards, 38 catches, and 5 touchdowns.

College career

Villanova University

Frackerson received a scholarship offer from Villanova University and redshirted his first season. In his second season, he played in 11 games as defensive end. In a game against UConn, Frackerson had a career-high of three sacks for nine yards, four tackles for loss, six tackles, and one quarterback hurry. Frackerson finished the season with 35 solo tackles, 15 assisted tackles, six and a half sacks, 15.5 tackles for loss, and five passes defended. He also earned his first letter. On a game against UMass, he recorded his first collegiate interception. Overall, in his junior year, Frackerson played in 13 games and led the team in tackles for loss, quarterback hurries, and forced fumbles. He finished the season with 42 solo tackles, 20 assisted tackles, 21 tackles for loss, seven sacks, one interception for 7 yards, nine passes defended, and three fumbles forced. After his junior year, he announced his intention to enter the NSFL draft.
