JimJam FlimFlam (born January 3, 1998) is an American football safety who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for Boston College (BC) before going undrafted in the 2033 (S18) draft.

Early years

Born in Lemont, Illinois, JimJam FlimFlam grew up in suburban Illinois, where football talent rarely comes by. Growing up, FlimFlam was raised alongside his 6 siblings (TimTam, BenBam, JenJan, DimDan, XinXan, and Frank). JimJam, being the oldest of the family, always pushes his brothers to follow the same football path he does, while emphasizing the importance of getting an college education above everything else. Despite his coach's various efforts to get him to try new positions, FlimFlam refused to play any position besides safety and cornerback on occasion. By his senior year, he took over Lemont's single season interception record of 21 and had 23 interceptions of his own. By the end of his highschool career, he accumulated 68 interceptions. The city of Lemont made a small award of recognition for JimJam, recognizing him for being the ""Most Feared Defensive Player in Lemont"

FlimFlam also participated in track and field, with his own personal best 100 m time of 11.3 seconds. According to JimJam, his experience as a sprinter was one of the main reasons scouts tried to recruit him. JimJam received and took an athletic scholarship offer to play at Boston College.

College career

JimJam played for the Boston College Eagles football team from 2015 to 2019.

As a true freshman in 2015, FlimFlam was active for all 13 games, but didn't start. JimJam’s coaches all stated that during this time, they noticed that he would always try to find a way to break into the practice facility for the football team. His coaches also stated that he always seemed to be obsessed with building his speed to greater levels.

After starting the 3rd game of his sophomore year, FlimFlam secured himself as a starter at the safety position for the rest of his college career. Those next 3 seasons showed gradual improvement in FlimFlam's game, especially when he made a 4th quarter game-winning pick six against rival school Virginia Tech his junior year. He would go on to record 3 interceptions and 55 tackles his sophomore year. His junior year, he'd record 1 interception that would be returned for a touchdown, 5 other interceptions, and 79 tackles. By his senior year, FlimFlam would miss half the season due to an injury and managed to record 30 tackles and a single interception. Before his injury, FlimFlam had a stunning performance against a stacked Clemson offense, where he shut down sophomore receiver Tee Higgins.

FlimFlam pursued a degree in communications and a minor in floral management. JimJam was known at Boston College for his miniature flower garden inside his dorm. He claimed that the wonderful smell of the flowers is what fueled his game. His top 3 favorite flowers are the Monkey Face Orchid, Bee Orchid, and the Passion Flower.
