Jackson Antonio Valadez (born May 7, 1997) is an American football wide receiver for the Tijuana Luchadores of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for NC State (NCSU) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

The speed in Jackson's Heart was all there all along he just haven't used it yet. Born to a former Olympian with a big family, Jackson's Life was hard from the get go with his father being incarcerated for being a con man to get rent money to emigrate from the Dominican Republic. His love of football came from seeing a cool shiny cover of a game called Madden 05 in a old Blockbuster when his mom Kalina was trying to rent out Charlie and The Chocolate Factory. He begged his mom to rent it cause he always wanted to play a game with someone like him on the cover. She looked at him saying "Hey, you may like this if you do enjoy it I'll enroll in you the local Bulldogs team just be prepared alright". He nods and just like that he enrolled as a WR for the Raging Bulldogs Pop Warner team. Through Middle school he liked to make music on the field tearing up the sidelines with over 1,000 yards in his first season in South Charlotte Middle school play. He thought about quitting in Eighth grade but decided not to due to strict parenting and the value the Valadez's success rate being a minority. He always love the scene of North Carolina and the fun of the Triangle Area so he was torn on choosing colleges so he decided to choose his destination North Carolina State due to one of his favorite players went there Mario Williams. He was ecstatic going on campus and bowed down in front of the coach and was holding back tears while talking to him.

College career

Valadez became a productive player his first year in Raleigh, winning the team's Philip Rivers Award for the top freshman in the program, starting four games and leading the team with five touchdown receptions. He became the first Wolfpack receiver to eclipse 1,000 yards since 2003 his sophomore season, becoming a second-team All-ACC selection by catching a team-high 69 throws for 1,017 yards and four scores. Valadez's best game that season came against Clemson, when he torched the Tigers for 155 yards and a touchdown on eight catches. He became a first-team All-ACC selection as a junior, leading his team with 1,186 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 81 catches (14.6 average) in 12 starts
