Herb Altee (born June 22, 2013) is an American football safety who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for University of Virginia (UVA) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years
Herb Altee was born in Dallas, TX on June 22, 2013. His mother, Erin, and father, Aaron, were both professional curlers leading the mixed doubles National team of the Republic of Texas to a 16th place finish in the 1992 World Games.
In High School Altee led Dallas Skyline to the school's first ever state championship by playing QB, Safety, Kicker, Punter, and even taking over head coaching duties while his coach was hospitalized for Dentohydroplosion for the final 2 games of the regular season. He was a 4 time All-State selection at safety, and set the school record with 18 interceptions in his Senior season. Skyline's football program was shut down the following year so his record will basically stand forever.
College career
"In college, Altee was a 3 year starter at the University of Virginia, and led the Cavaliers to their first ever ACC title in his Senior year over the Clemson Tigers. He was also named ACC defensive player of the year after leading the conference with 8 interceptions, 21 pass breakups, and 2 defensive touchdowns.
During his Junior year, Altee suffered what was at the time thought to be a career threatening scrotum tear. But through the power of psychic healing, and daily soaking of his scrotum in the yolk of bald eagle eggs, Altee returned to the field just 1 week later and made a game sealing interception against Louisville. Since recovering from the injury, Altee has sworn by the eagle egg yolk regimen, and continues the soak before bed every night. He also bathes in only the finest of red wines."
