Guillero Ramero (born January 12th 1957) is a football executive who is the general manager for the San Antonio Marshals of the Development Simulation Football League (DSFL). Guillermo is the uncle of one of the NSFL's brightest young stars in linebacker Rickey Ramero of the Colorado Yeti and has loose ties to a very prominent Colombian drug dealing cartel. These ties have led to claims that Guillermo came to power in the football world through deception and bribery, but nothing has been officially announced surrounding these claims. Ramero is also the father of an upcoming young star in the DSFL, kicker Emilio Ramero who has been making waves with his own Marshals so far this season.

Early years

Guillermo Ramero was born in Medellin, Colombia and was immediately raised as a part of the highly powerful Ramero family. From birth, it was evident that Guillermo would be heavy handed in the family's cartel, and so Guillermo was sheltered from public view until he was seen with his father who at the time was the linchpin of the cartel. Scandal has followed Guillermo his entire life, but a large portion of it surrounded his late teens when he was known for causing trouble in downtown Medellin where he opened up a cock fighting arena and aided in the shipments of heroine and cocaine through the underground markets of the cities slums.

San Antonio Marshals

Guillermo took on the helm as the Assistant General Manager and Coach of the San Antonio Marshals after purchasing the team in 2021 (S6) from their previous owners. Due to limited control over the team at the time, Ramero found himself making very limited changes in the times structure, but was an integral part of their growth over the next two seasons through a trade and a strong draft. Ramero shipped off star quarterback Ryan Applehort to the Portland Pythons in a deal that included a conditional second round pick provided Applehort played over ten games in the DSFL with the Pythons and a fourth round pick if he did not. Following this, Ramero conducted an electric draft that landed stars such as his nephew Rickey Ramero, stud linebacker turned defensive end Brock Weathers III and elite running back talent D.J Riddick. The team had a disappointing season none the less, but came back in 2022 (S7) stronger than ever.

The Marshals made a comeback with a massive draft class and Guillermo now in the role of Head GM, making some incredible picks that would be of massive aid to them in their coming season. To begin, the team selected up and coming franchise quarterback Kevin Fitzpatrick who would replace the aging Mike Vick and bring the passing game back to San Antonio. They aided their defensive side of the ball by acquiring Bucky Barnes, a safety, at fifth overall and helped out their run game with Marquise Brown at ninth. The team would go on to select a string of impressive players, the likes of twin brothers Blake Marchand and Jesse Marchand in the fourth round, his son Emilio Ramero in the fifth round, and Jai Turner in the sixth round before closing out their night. The team immedatialy got to work, going undefeated in pre-season and opening their season with four victories before taking losses to the Kansas City Coyotes and Tijuana Luchadores in weeks five and six. The team would continue to be succesful, and is now priming themselves for a deep playoff run with an incredible roster after picking up Oskar Ludvig on waivers and trading for Egan Winter from the Pythons to shore up their defensive backs.
