His father worked as an assistant to the regional manager at a local paper company, and his mother worked in sales. Sal was 6 feet tall by the time he was in the 5th grade. By the time he got to highschool, he was the #1 recruit in the nation for football. Sal also won a state championship as a high school wrestler in the super heavy weight division, and also in baseball. Sal holds his highschool homerun record with 101 home runs hit over the course of his 4 year highschool baseball career. He earned the nickname, ""the butcher,"" due to his love for meets. Sal is famous for loving deli meat especially and could famously clear out an entire deli in one sitting. Sal Ami has the highest cholesterol ever recorded for a living human being in human history."

College career

Sal Ami began his college career playing minutes only sparingly. One day there was a 99 yard touchdown that changed his life for the better forever. After this play, he began working on his diet, and hittting the weight room. By his junior year in college, he led the nation in touchdowns and receiving yards as a tightend. He was drafted in the first round of he MLB draft by the New York Yankees who wanted to try to tap into the potiential they saw from his highschool days. Instead, Sal chose to keep playing football. By the conclusion of his senior year, Sal held every receiving record in the country, and also won the award for most outstanding football player in the country. This had never been done by a player playing the tight end position. He declared for the 2021 football draft and scouts are excited about the potiential that he posesses. "

Professional career

Season 33 was one for the ages for Sal Ami. This was the year he turned into a true breakout superstar in the league. Sal had shown flashes throughout his time in the International Simulation Football league, however this was the first season where he became a standout. Going into the season, the Honolulu Halaluah had championship dreams on the mind. Led by a star studded defenses and an offense that had finally come of age, this was a team that everyone was afraid of entering the season. Things changed quickly though as games began. The Honolulu Hahalua ended up vastly underachieving and ending the campaign with a lowly 7-9 record. However, there was one bright spot on the season, and that was Sal. Sal however won Tight End of the Year unainously and made the All Pro and Pro Bowl teams. Sal finished with 92 receptions for 1063 yards and a whopping 13 touchdown receptions on the season.

Season 34 was another massively successful campaign for Sal Ami. The Honolulu Hahaulua traded for super star quarterback Laser in the off season. The tandem of Laser and Ami was one that opposing defenses had a terrible time trying to defend. Sal set career highs in receptions and yards during season 34, and still pulled in an impressive 11 touchdowns. This was the first time in Sal’s football career, dating back to his high school playing days, where he was truly featured as the go to player in an offense. Fantasy team managers who drafted Sal got a treat. Although he was classified under the tight end position, most of the year Honolulu had him playing wide receiver. By seasons end, Sal ranked as the 5th most productive wide receiver even though he split time at tight end. This led to rumblings about a potential switch in the future to full time wide receiver.
