Eddie QuirkyTurtle Jeeta (born December 15, 2014) is an American football wide receiver who is currently playing in the ISFL for the Austin Copperheads. He played college football for University of Florida (UF).

Early years
Eddie was born to Bethany and Jacoby Jeeta in Watford, UK. Eddie had a lower class upbringing as he was one of seven siblings in his household. Eddie is the second eldest to his siblings; Kelly, Brook, Faizul, Beau, Jimmy and Elisa.
Growing up in a rough neighborhood, Eddie and young boys his age found it tough at times to stay out of trouble. However, Eddie had a hidden passion for football. He'd persuade kids in his area to play football for hours a day in the empty street. Quickly Eddie became popular with his knack for catching deep balls. In the area local high schools were beginning to implement American football teams and Eddie was first to sign up.
Eddie would begin his high school career as cornerback and was successful. However Eddie developed monstrous hands and long arms giving him a vast catching radius and coach would try him out for wide receiver. Needless to say he excelled. So much so that he decided to take his talents to the USA after receiving a scholarship to the University of Florida, and began his journey to accomplish his dream of making it in to the NSFL.
College career
Freshman Season
Eddie only started 6 games for the Gators in his Freshman year, as he was doubted by a lot of fans that he could play having known very little about him since he cma eover from the United Kingdom. The Gators were 2-4 when Eddie got his first start. The WR1 suffered a bad ACL tear and was now out for the season. Jeeta knew he had to come up big and prove his worth to secure his spot on the starters. That game, having only entered the game half way through the 3rd quarter, Eddie secured 6 catches for 105 yards and a touchdown. The team knew they had found their star Wide receiver. Gators went on to finish 6-7 and Eddie's stat line was 46 catches for 674 yards and 5 touchdowns. Difficulties at the Quarterback position limited their success but Eddie had done his job well.
Sophomore Season
Eddie started his sophomore season as the WR1 for the Florida Gators. He would play in all 13 season games. Gators still yet to find their answer at Quarterback and a poor year defensively , the Gators had a second mediocre season finishing 5-8. The silver-lining for the team was the receiving core. Gators had a very talented receiving core led by Eddie Jeeta. Racking up 83 catches for 1205 yards and 11 Touchdowns.
Junior Season
Eddie did not slow down his Junior season. Gators offence had a huge leap and allowed Jeeta to get targets galore. On a staggering 126 targets, Eddie sealed 112 catches for 1568 yards and 14 Touchdowns. He had without question caught the eyes of the DSFL with his performance. While the Gators never managed to make it to a bowl game, Eddie has set his sights on the next big prize being the Ultimini. In the offseason this year, Eddie will look to establish a solid media presence to get his name out there, improve his fundamentals in all aspects of the game and try impress the General Managers that coming knocking on his door.

Season 21
Eddie Jeeta was drafted by the Kansas City Coyotes with pick 5 in Round 2 (13th overall) of the S21 DSFL Draft. Kansas City’s S20 receivers were some of the best but were called up to play in the NSFL so the addition of Eddie Jeeta had him slotted into the WR1 position right away. Accompanied with fellow receivers Michael Witheblock and Tan Johnson, and resident TE Tree Gelbman, the Coyotes receiving core would be dubbed the Yeet Squad.
Jeeta saw a lot of targets early on and developed nicely through out the season even with the split target volume between him and Witheblock. A standout performance came in a home game in week 6 against the Tijuana Luchadores. Eddie would rake in 99 yards on 6 catches and a score. Additionally, this game would see his best play, as he secured a 42 yard bomb down field that would finish as the 3rd longest reception by a receiver that year. Jeeta worked hard on improving speed and by the end of the season was tied for 1st in that category throughout the DSFL. His speed would also see his contribution in the returning game improve, and at one point ran for an impressive 81 yard kick return that setup an easy score for the Coyotes.
Jeeta would round out the regular season with 769 receiving yards from 59 receptions, and caught 5 Touchdowns, helping his team finish with a 9-5 record and an eventual Ultimini appearance. He would finish 3rd in receiving yards and total receptions, and 4th in touchdowns at his position.
Season 22
Season 22 marked Eddie Jeeta's rookie season in the NSFL. Jeeta was selected with the 7th pick in the 3rd round of the giant S22 NSFL Draft (31st overall), by the Austin Copperheads. Originally the pick belonged to the new expansion team Honolulu Hahalua’s but was traded to Austin along with a S23 2nd round pick, in exchange for Austin’s S23 1st and 2nd, and S22 7th. A trade most would end up deeming a high price for Jeeta, if not mainly because of a graphics error on draft night. However, while it was certainly debatable who was the best wide receiver in the S22 Draft, Austin felt Jeeta was the best, and so the move to them made perfect sense.
It was strongly considered that Eddie Jeeta would be spending a second season in the DSFL with the Kansas City Coyotes to further improve on his skills to contribute to the team in the future. However, a late call was made that Jeeta would be called up to begin his NSFL career straight away, as they felt his addition in the late season would become very helpful.
As the Wide receiver 3, behind Tod Ridwell and Net Gaines, and more accurately the 4th receiving option behind RB Ryan Leaf Jr. Jeeta would see little of the ball for the majority of the season and only managed to secure 15 receptions for 141 receiving yards. This was expected from the rookie. Where his contribution lied was in his scores. Jeeta would land 3 Touchdowns in his rookie season as the 4th option. This would help Austin reach the ASFC conference championship.
Season 23
Eddie Jeeta enters his sophomore year with the Austin Copperheads moving into Season 23 of the newly name changed International Simulation Football League (ISFL). Jeeta would remain the 3rd wide receiver option in his second year as ageing Rod Tidwell moves to WR2 and Net Gaines moves up to the WR1 role. With the departure of RB Ryan Leaf Jr, Eddie would see a big uptick in targets and would see nearly triple the receptions from his underwhelming rookie season. He would also see over triple the yardage at 482 yards, with an increase of 3.3 yards per reception, and doubled his Touchdown count, finishing with a very respectable 6 Touchdowns as WR3.
A highlight game in Season 23 for Eddie Jeeta came in week 6 against the Chicago Butchers. Eddie saw 6 targets, hauling in 5 of them for 68 yards and a score.
This season also marks Eddie Jeeta’s first visit to the Ultimus. While only a season ago, the Copperheads would fall one game short, after losing to the Orange County Otters in the Conference finals. The Copperheads managed an incredible run of away playoff games against New Orleans and then Orange County to face the Yellowknife Wraiths in the Ultimus. Unfortunately for Jeeta and his teammates, they were not able to come away with the trophy, but despite ups and downs through the regular season, they finished very strong with a successful playoff campaign that would see them make the Ultimus.
Heading into S24, Eddie Jeeta is expected to take up a more significant role within the Austin receiving core, as he moves up to WR2.
Season 24
Eddie Jeeta moves into his 3rd season with the Austin Copperheads in the ISFL. This season Jeeta moved up the depth chart into the WR2 role as Legend WR Rod Tidwell regressed. Net Gaines would remain at WR1 and young star wideout Videl-San would be called up to fill in as WR4 with snaps at the TE position also.
Entering into the WR2 role, saw Eddie Jeeta’s targets double. Jeeta had 71 catches this season. vastly more than the 38 he had managed just a season ago.Along with this, Jeeta’s yardage also saw a massive uptick. He posted his first 1000+ receiving yards season in his career, with 1034 yards. He also posted a career long reception at 60 yards. While his reception rate, yardage and yard per reception went up in his 3rd year, his TDs took a slight dip. Eddie was only able to secure the ball in the end zone 5 times compared to 6 just a year ago. Although this is likely due to tough defensive matchups within the ASFC conference and will see positive regression in the future.
Jeeta had a stand out performance in week 4 of the regular season against the New Orleans Second Line. This game would see Jeeta’s first game with 100+ receiving yards and also 2 scores. A career game for Eddie Jeeta.
Moving forward, Eddie Jeeta will climb further up the depth chart to become the Copperheads WR1 heading into Season 25. Net Gaines had 2 exceptional seasons at the helm of the receiving core, and Jeeta will look to achieve the same.
