Dominic Ricci (born November 10, 2000) is an American football cornerback who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for University of California, Berkeley (CAL) before going undrafted in the 2046 ISFL Draft (S31).

Early years

Dominic was always extremely competitive growing up, leading to a dog attitude. Dominic was always a pure athlete being able to compete in most sports due to naturual speed and agility. His mother and father were both NCAA track and field stars. In early years he started his career as runningback, and as he didn't grown until late, he began playing defensive back due to his excellent decision making. Due to lack of the phsyical attributes Dominic was a 2-star recruit heading out of Folsom High School. Dominic tried his best to generate division one interest and could not because of his small size. In his senior year Dom grew to 6'0 and began to absolutely dominate in press man coverage, locking down SEC committed wide recievers. Dom in his senior year also got some action at wide reciever on a couple deep threat plays. Dominic would eventually choose to take his talent to a community college instead for a division two school.

College career

Dom before his first season at American River College grew to 6'2 and wieghed 190 pounds. Dominic walked on to the American River Football and Track team and played one season there. During this time he would dominate the track, and impose his will on the field. Although offers were coming from everywhere, Dominic wanted to go to UC Berkeley like his father and accepted with them after his first college season. The next season Dom would exceed all expectations as a starter when he was put in the second game of the season due to injuries, and has played lights out since. His new height and weight allowed him to manipulate recievers off the line and ruin the tempo of offenses. In the zone package Dom excells at being in the right place at the right time. He had become a lockdown corner. Yet his tackles were still lack luster that first season. Dominic won a NCAA championship in track for Cal and immediately put on tewnty more pounds to improve his rush defense. In his Senior year Dominic had the team high in tackles and deflections. Also in his Senior year he won one more 100 meter NCAA championship.
