Djibutee "DaBooty" McJimmerson (born June 25, 2017) is an American football tight end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for Miami (FL) before going undrafted in the 2040 ISFL Draft (S25).

Early years

Djibutee "DaBooty" McJimmerson was born to an Irish Catholic priest named Phil Sr and a local native Rwandan D&D shop owner named Chimikaw. He spent his formative years learning to DM, until his peers noticed he just kept growing. Eventually coming to realize that his great size, speed, and strength were boons, he took up athletics, setting records in Shotput, Powerlifting, and Competitive Eating (He once ate 69 hotdogs in a single minute). This drew him attention from many colleges, but he knew that Miami was where his heart lie.

College career

"Coming into his freshman year of 2036, the plan was to redshirt the raw prospect. But injuries, and some say the gods, had other plans. He was thrust into his first start in week 1 after the depth chart was decimated by a freak gator hunting accident with the TE corps. What came next can only be described as magical, as he put up a statline of 14 catches for 224 yds and 3 touchdowns while leading the Canes to victory over the loathsome Hokies. The rest of the season proved to be more of the same, where he went on to finish with 957 yds and 16 tds on the year, capped off with an Orange Bowl Victory.

His sophmore year he ended up playing both ways as a DE, where he had a modest 5 sacks and gave good depth to the squad. While the Canes didn't exactly light the world on fire, there was little to no regression in his play. He ended the season with 940 yds and 14 tds, in addition to his defensive contributions.

2038 was an unfortunate year, as a torn achilles ruled DaBooty out for the year, but he was cleared by the doctors to perform at the NFSL Combine and test his mettle with the pros."

Professional career

S24

In the 24th DSFL draft, Djibutee McJimmerson was selected in the 7th round with pick #51. While he didn't expect to fall quite that far, he was ultimately ecstatic about winding up in Myrtle Beach. It was there that he met the TE Whisperer - GM Thor. In his rookie campaign during S24 in the DSFL he was employed as a jack of all trades TE, which while vastly different to his college days at Miami was a good strategy to help a strong run game flourish with 3 great RBs and the pacey running QB Holloway under center. He was able to develop under Thor into a much more versatile player and became a major receiving threat by seasons end. He was the best blocking TE in the entire league, not just the rookie class, which was certainly unexpected out of college. He also was a redzone threat converting 3 of his 5 redzone targets for TDs.

The success and growth during his rookie year saw McJimmerson rising quickly up scouts big boards for the ISFL S25 draft. Some even mocked him in the top half of the first round, but ultimately he went to his preferred destination with the Yellowknife Wraiths with the 15th overall and 1st pick of the 2nd round. With 2 TE’s under contract already, no one is really sure what the future holds for him. Could he see a move to a different position? He was a do it all player at Miami, after all. Regardless of what S26 holds, he will be playing one more season in Myrtle Beach to develop while chasing his Ultimini dream.
