Busch Goose (born November 10, 1766) was an American football runningback. He played college football for Rutgers University.

Early years

"The Busch Goose is an immortal being who, since the founding of Rutgers University's Busch Campus, has ruled over the campus as its king. He gained this title through combat, fighting both the Redcoats and United States Revolutionaries during the United States Revolutionary War, fighting the B, A, C, and H busses in more modern times, and never once surrendering his post as the rightful ruler. The Busch Goose's high levels of intimidation and agility allowed him to frighten away opponents first, and if they were not scared off, elude them before perching above them in victory.

From the old engineering building to Allison Road Classroom, from the Busch Campus Center to the Library of Science and Medicine, the Busch Goose terrorized students who refused to submit to him as their king. Many classes of Rutgers students paid tribute to the Busch Goose in hopes to appease it, some offering gifts of dining hall take-out nuggets, while the Class of 2032 built a giant statue of the Busch Goose for him to perch on. Sometimes, these gifts would be enough to please the Busch Goose, but other times he and his flock of faithful Canada geese would continue to harrass innocent Rutgers students at will."

College career

The only thing the Busch Goose feared, of course, were dogs. And so, when famed Rutgers alumnus Wolfie McDummy approached the Busch Goose about his NCAA eligibility, he listened. The Busch Goose, ever so wise, understood his powers could be used for the good of the school and campus he ruled over, and as a result declared himself for the Rutgers football team in exchange for the school allowing his flock to continue enforcing his reign on campus. While he had to redshirt his freshman season in order to learn the playbook (and learn that flying with the football is illegal), the coaching staff realized they could best utilize the Busch Goose as a running back that no opponent wished to tackle. With a quick honk or hiss the Busch Goose's intimidation scared away many a linebacker, while those who did dare to tackle him were unpleasantly surprised with goose poop on their jerseys. After two seasons averaging 7 yards per carry, a Heisman Trophy snub (while it doesn't say a goose can't win the Heisman, many voters were unconvinced), and record breaking scoring, the Busch Goose declared himself eligible for the ISFL and the DSFL draft.
