Bryce Molnar (born January 16, 2006) is an American football safety who is currently unsigned by a professional team.

Early years

Bryce's football career by no means started out fast. He was a late bloomer being only 5'5" 125 lbs his junior year but that didn't slow down his love for the game. He worked hard after his junior year not liking that after three years he still hasn't been able to start in a single football game running routes and working on his hands every day after school. He got a little lucky growing to 5'8" and weighing 160 lbs and after all his hard offseason work he was able to earn a job as a starter despite still being undersized. He had a natural competitiveness that couldn't be taught and was willing to do anything for the game. His senior year, despite it being his first year of getting any actual playing time, he played well above anyone's expectations earning all-region first team and second team all-state with just over 1,200 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. Despite his excellence, his senior year colleges could not look past his lack of size and lack of blazing speed so he was not given a single division 1 offer. He got one division three offer but decided that he would walk on to the college his father went to and went to the D1-FCS school Bucknell, not on scholarship.

College career

Freshman: As a walk-on true freshman Bryce was immediately put in as WR3 and role player because between senior year of high school and freshman year of college he grew 3 inches from 5'8" to 5'11" and gained 30 pounds from 160 lbs to 190. His freshman year he was able to get 518 yards and catch 4 touchdowns including a game-winning 34-yard touchdown in their conference game against Colegate. By the end of the year, it was clear that he was going to be a star.

Sophomore: His sophomore year he was already clearly one of the best players on his team. The easy WR1 and the QB's first choice and safety valve. It felt like if the QB was in trouble he would just throw it in the general direction of Bryce and he would somehow come down with it. He was a true playmaker on his team bringing countless double teams and torching the best DBs in their conference. The season would have been perfect with 1,152 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns but it will forever be plagued with his game losing drop on and easy touchdown causing them to lose their home conference game against Lafayette.

Junior: As a junior Bryce brought it to a whole other level. He somehow grew an extra 3 inches and gained another 30 pounds bringing him to 6'2" 220 pounds. It was clear that he was not only one of the best receivers in FCS but he was probably one of the best receivers in college football. He carried his team to go undefeated in conference play and is easily the single reason why. He put together an insane 1,567 receiving yards with 27 touchdowns. His larger frame mixed with the craftiness of a player who once was very undersized caused him to be nearly unstoppable. Teams would scheme against him for weeks in advance and he would still blow the tops off their defenses. Despite being in FCS he still gained lots of traction from NSFL scouts and decided to declare for the draft after just his junior year totaling 3,237 receiving yards and 42 touchdowns in just 3 years.
