Brayden Ennis (born January 7, 2009) is an American football defensive tackle for the San Jose Sabercats of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). He played college football for University Of Wyoming before being drafted by the New Orleans Second Line in the 2032 ISFL Draft (S17). Prior to this, he had been drafted by the Kansas City Coyotes in the 2031 DSFL Draft (S16).


Early years

When Ennis was young he'd play sports as extracurricular activities until he tore his ACL at age 10. After a few years of moving around Ennis and his family ended up in the city of Mustang Oklahoma where he rekindled his love for the game of Football. After winning the starting job at Defensive Tackle his Junior year Ennis proceeded to break the sack record for that state of Oklahoma. In his senior year of High School Ennis led his team to an undefeated 11-0 and beat the Yukon Millers 44-19. Ennis would make the all american team and would be recruited as a 5-Star recruit to the University of Wyoming, the first 4 Star or above for the college



College career

"Ennis started in his first game as a college athlete and recorded 12 Tackles and 2 Sacks against rival Air Force. After going 8-4 Wyoming would win the Mountain West Conference for the first time in school history. Ennis would also proceed to make the All-Freshman team that season. After a Above Average Sophomore season Ennis woul make it to the First team All Pro in his Junior year win 103 Tackles, and 18 Sacks. At the Start of his Senior year Ennis was given an early invitation to the DSFL draft to play in the biggest league of all, The NSFL. "

Ennis was the main man when it came down to the Defensive Line after being named captain for all linemen positions. Ennis did not have the best stats when it came to pass rushing but we could easily pressure the QB. Ennis would help lead the team along with the help of Tyron Brackenridge to a 8-6 Season and a trip to the playoffs. The Coyotes would be eliminated in the first round in a lost at Portland. As of right now Ennis has been projected as a Early 1st Round pick, an improvement to his 4th round DSFL pick.

Ennis would be drafted 4th overall to the Baltimore Hawks and eventually traded 9 picks later to the New Orleans Second Line. Ennis would be one of the only two S17 Draftees to be traded on draft weekend, the other being current Colorado Wide Receiver Jim McMahon. After a below average season Ennis was Traded to the Austin Copperheads where he would play along Dick Wizardy and many Kansas City Coyote rookies. Ennis would start out his sophomore season Hot but would dwindle out later on in the season. He would help lead Austin to their first playoff appearence. In the opening hours of the offseason Ennis would be told he wouldn't be on the team for the following season and was cut. Ennis only recieved a total of two offers to play for a new team. One coming from the other expansion team Chicago Butchers, and the other coming from the team in rebuild, the San Jose Sabercats. The San Jose Sabercats ended up signing Ennis early in the offseason along with his former teammate Action Jackson. Ennis would go on to have his best season so far in another down year for the sabercats. Ennis posted tweets hinting that he might sign another contract then retrire when that was over. Signaling that his ACL might be bothering him again. Ennis has also signaled that he may have regrets for not getting to play with his DSFL Alma Mater Kansas City Coyotes, where he ended up getting called up to the Second Line and playing awful.
