Amanda HugAndKiss (born November 6, 2034) was an American football safety for the Chicago Butchers. He previously played for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).
Early years
Amanda HugAndKiss was born in Loveladies, New Jersey. Amanda's parents are a director for the LBIF of the Arts and Sciences and a lifeguard. Sprouting to six feet tall at the age of twelve, Amanda received heavy attention from local sports teams. At the beginning of high school, Amanda committed to playing only football, and was a dual way player, starting at both tight end and linebacker. Amanda was team captain since their sophomore year, and was named Ocean County's top LB their senior year. At the end of high school, Amanda decided to stay in-state to attend Rutgers, commenting "New Jersey is the best", this was later deemed a heavily unpopular statement in 49 of the United States. At the time of committing Amanda was the highest nationally ranked player recruited to Rutgers of all time (#289). Amanda routinely refers to New Jersey during media meetings, and had not left the state until college.
College career
Amanda began a Rutgers career starting at safety and linebacker, while also contributing in special teams. Amanda was named second team All-Big Ten Defense in both sophomore and junior years. Over three years, Amanda had 121 tackles, 10 TFL, 8 INTs, 5 FF and 1 TD. Amanda also caught 1 TD in a rivalry game against Penn State. Early reports from training camp suspected that the transition to safety was not easy for Amanda, and freshman year Amanda was mostly used in a linebacker position and slowly transitioned to more safety reps. By the end of Amanda's college career, all reps were at the safety position. In college, Amanda studied fine arts and minored in economics. Amanda is on track to finish their degree after the DSFL draft and is still enrolled at the school. Amanda was part of the Rutgers University Film Productions organization, a group to provide an environment of film collaboration for students.
