Alex Frost (born May 13, 2004) is an American football kicker who is currently unsigned by a professional team.

Early years

Alex Frost was born in 2004 to father Sebastian Frost and mother Kara in Bend, Oregon. He didn't live in Bend long, moving to Denver where his father was an employee of the SMJHL's Colorado Raptors. When he made it to high school, Frost transferred to a small boarding school in northern Indiana and was roommates for two years with professional hockey player Alex Winters. Despite being a year older, Frost maintains a friendship with Winters. Frost was the school's starting kicker for three years, going 70/75 with a long of 42 yards. Frost was successful enough to earn several scholarship offers, most notably from Alabama, Ohio State, Washington and Oregon. Just before his senior season, Frost verbally committed to Oregon.

College career

After limited kicks during his freshman year, Frost won the starting job his sophomore season. Frost went 24/30 on field goal attempts his sophomore year, with a long of 45, while going 33/38 on extra points. Despite missing what would have been a game-winning kick against Stanford as well as ugly misses in games against Utah and Arizona, the coaching staff stuck with Frost throughout the season and he rewarded them with the game-winning kick against Iowa in the Holiday Bowl. His junior year saw competition for the starting spot, which resulted in Frost winning the job officially during Week Two. Frost's junior season was much more consistent going 26/28 on field goals and 38/39 on extra points. Frost's season was a rare bright spot in an otherwise tough year for the Ducks, which saw them barely earn bowl eligibility. The Ducks lost a tight game to Texas Tech in the Cheez-It Bowl that season. With a young quarterback, Frost and the Ducks entered his senior season ranked #13 with national championship expectations. After a perfect start to the season for both Frost and the Ducks which saw them rise to #5, his first miss came in heartbreaking fashion against #23 Washington State. Frost pushed what would have been a game-winning kick wide left with one second remaining, and the Ducks would go on to lose in overtime. The Ducks finished the year strong, however, winning the PAC-12 championship and defeating Michigan in the Rose Bowl with Frost going 3/3 as well as 5/5 on extra points in that game. Frost finished his Oregon career going 79/88 on field goals and 111/117 on extra points. Declaring for the 2027 DSFL Draft (S12), Frost was rated as a late-round prospect.
