Ahri Espeeyeeseetee (born December 31, 2008) is an undrafted American football wide receiver of the National Simulation Football League. He played high school football for St. Joseph's Preparatory School and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Ahri Espeeyeeseetee, or "AE", immigrated to the United States from South Korea in May 2020. His parents, Ian and Ahri Ian, were refugees of North Korea, traversing underneath the DMZ to Seoul some time early 2008. AE was born later that year, into hardship and misfortune, his parents unable to find employment in their new country. His father was deported August 2019 for attempting to smuggle other members of the Espeeyeeseetee family out of North Korea (Aye and Ian Tiaro). AE and his mother went to the United States after news the rest of their family had been disappeared, soon settling in the suburbs of Southern Pennsylvania. AE's distraught mother died January 1, 2022, just after AE's 12th birthday. Ahri Espeeyeeseetee found solace from his mother's death in the game of football, often spending late nights catching footballs from a jug machine. It was one such night AE was found by a St. Joseph's Prepatory School scout, who recruited AE for a full ride in their program.

High school career

Ahri Espeeyeeseetee led Pennsylvania high schools in receiving yardage and touchdowns in his four year tenure at St. Joseph's Prep. In 2027, he set a state record for consecutive receptions without a drop with 78. In 2028 he broke that record with 104. The Prep won state titles in AE's freshman and senior years, losing to Pine-Richland High School in the 2026 Class 6A PIAA State Championship and failing to make the playoff bracket the year before, after AE suffered a broken foot prior to season. Ahri Espeeyeeseetee earned Pa. Football Writers’ All-State Team honors in 2027 and 2028, and the All-PAFootballNews.com Rookie of the Year Award in 2025. He has elected not to attend college at this time, already being pursued by teams in the DSFL and NSFL.

Professional career

Ahri Espeeyeeseetee was drafted with the first pick in the fourth round of the S14 DSFL draft. He finished the season second overall in receptions, third overall in receiving yards, and fifth overall in receiving touchdowns. He helped Norfolk reach the S14 DSFL playoffs that year, where they were defeated in the opening round by the Portland Pythons.

In S15, AE was drafted by the San Jose SaberCats, but was sent back down to Norfolk for another season in the minors. There, he improved on his net stats from S14 in every category except total receptions, and posted the season lead in receiving touchdowns. The Seawolves failed to make the playoffs that season and AE's DSFL adventure was over.

In S16, Ahri made his season debut for the SaberCats in a meager showing against the Orange County Otters week 1, and did not score his first NSFL touchdown until week 4. He was traded to the Baltimore Hawks in week 8, and finished the season middle of the pack in all receiving categories. AE finished with only a single catch in the Hawks first round playoff loss to the Chicago Butchers. In S17, AE was promoted to the WR2 position where he helped Baltimore return to the Ultimus after missing the year prior. He finished the season middle of the pack in most receiving categories.

In S18, Ahri returned to the Hawks and finished just 17 yards shy of his first 1000 yard receiving season. The Hawks again made the playoffs, but were outed by the Yellowknife Wraiths in round 2.

AE finished the S19 season with Baltimore, earning his first 1000 yard season of his career and also finishing top 10 in receiving yards, average, and long on the season. Perplexingly, AE was held without a catch on zero targets in the NSFC championship game, after posting his first ever 100 yard receiving playoff game in round 1 against the Colorado Yeti.

Following the S19 season, AE opted out of his contract with Baltimore and signed as the primary receiving target for the Chicago Butchers.
