Xavier Walls (born May 10, 2001) is an American football linebacker who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for UW - Wisconsin (WISC) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

From an early age, Xavier grew up in small town Wisconsin playing multiple sports including basketball, baseball, and football. In youth sports, Xavier was much larger than other kids and often had to deal with birth certificate checks and other hardships in tournaments and leagues. Entering high school, Xavier was highly sought out to play in just about every display of physical talent avaliable but he chose only baseball, football, and basketball. Xavier was an All-State athlete in all three throughout his high school career. Focused on Computer Sciences, Xavier poured much of his free time into his schooling when he wasn't playing sports or working out. Xavier Walls' father died shortly before he graduated high school and his father was very invested in seeing Xavier succeed. His death really solidfied Xavier Walls' choice to accept a scholarship for the Wisconsin Badgers as a Linebacker. Upon joining the team Xavier Walls quickly proved himself a starter there and gave his coaches confidence in his character and work ethic along with his football intelligence.

College career

As a freshman starter on scholarship for UW - Wisconsin, the Badgers, Xavier Walls was a strong tackler on the outside and applied decent pressure on opposing quarterbacks. In his sophomore year, he developed much more ability to get to the quarterback and led the team in sacks but just missed out on 1st team awards. Honored for his intelligence on and off the field, Xavier Walls was given the award of Honors of Science and Degree during his sophomore year and then his junior year of playing. Xavier had speed, smarts, and strength to go along with his good character. Xavier was a quiet, respectful, but high engine player who knew how to speak through actions and not words. During Xavier's junior year he led the conference in sacks, fumbles forced, and tackles, while then opting to enter the draft early while still continuing his studies. Winner of various awards his junior year, Xavier Walls was most highly regarded for his mix of community involvement, smarts, and character on top of his higher than average football skills.
