Kotoni Staggs (born November 5, 2025) is an American football wide receiver who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Georgia and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

"Kotoni Staggs, born in Rockhampton, Central Queensland, to Stephan and Stephanie Staggs. Stephan was a flight instructor who also ran small charter flights and Stephanie had achieved her doctorate in health research at the local university. Staggs grew up watching the Red Zone on his Father's, Foxtel account. His dream was to make it big in this sport. He was all about football as he was growing up. Unfortunately, the small country town that he grew up in was more interested in Australian Football and National Rubgy League - both have a similar shaped ball but all three are played completely different. Nevertheless he would take his American Football any and every where he could. At school he persisted in asking his teacher to teach a term of American Football. And finally he relented. Staggs was about to live his dream. His teacher would often as him to help demonstrate various skills and movements that the positions required. His teacher even asked him if he wanted to organise a mock Combine for his class. When Staggs turned 16 his hometown and the local towns around Central Queensland developed an American Football League. He was signed up immediately to play for the Rockhampton Wolverines. All his training at school and dreaming was about to turn his dreams into a reality.

Staggs was recgonised for his talent as he played other teams across Central Queensland, then Queensland, till he became a household name among American Football fans throughout Australia. Whoever knew Staggs, knew that he had the passion, the skills and the drive to make it to the US "

College career

"Getting to College was tough for Kotoni Staggs. Staggs was a dedicated student who excelled at academics and was a brilliant sportman. But did he have enough to make it all the way to an American College. The Staggs family made the hard decision to start applying for scholarships to many schools across the United States: this required many application forms to be completed, transcripts to be posted, videos of games and skills to be made and travelling from scouts to even see him play.

This resulted in having to fly over with Stephan and Stephanie to the US for a month to tour schools that were interested in taking on this young gun from Central Queensland, Australia. At the end of US school year and halfway through the last year of his Australian schooling, he received 3 acceptance letters with a full scholarship. The University of Georgia, Louisiana State University and University of Alabama. Ultimately he settled on University of Georgia. He finished out his Australian academic year, packed and moved to Athens, Georgia and was ready to start in the fall.

As a true freshman in 2040, Staggs rarely started, but was able to make an impact with thirty tackles and and two interceptions. The following year saw noticable improvements, as Player started the majority of games, and saw a dramatic increase in tackles.... ""

As a freshman in 2040, he had 50 receptions for 1,200 yards and ten touchdowns. As a sophomore, he had 60 catches for 1,203 yards and 12 touchdowns. Staggs' 5,412 career receiving yards rank second in the all-time career receiving records of the National Federation of High Schools. His 272 career receptions rank fourth."
