Troy Ke O'lai Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa (born January 11, 1997) is an American football safety for the NONE of the National Simulation Football League (X). He played college football for University of Hawai'i (UH) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Born in West Hills, California, Troy Humuhumunukunukuāpuaʻa was raised as an orphan, living in various foster homes until age 12, finally being adopted by Dawn and Sonny Smith. Dawn and Sonny moved to Hawaii and changed their surname to Humuhumunukunukuāpua'a to help Troy feel at home, but Troy felt most at home being able to help his peewee football team out on the field. At age 16, Troy met former boxing star and PBE pitcher Mamoru Okonomi and was inspired by him to take up pro football. Deciding he wanted to go pro, "Ke Ōla'i" (translation: The Earthquake), set out to make his name in college ball. Troy declared he would go to UH to become a future NSFL star.

College career

Troy's first two years in college ball were not great, but he was able to show flashes of his playmaking ability with 27 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 interception, and 1 fumble with a sack and interception happening in his first start at the end of his sophomore year. In his junior year, he started every game; garnering a massive 69 tackles, 1 sack, 2 interceptions, and 1 fumble. In peak form for his senior year, "Ke Ōla'i" spent almost half the year injured, but showed great form before the injury with 40 tackles, 2 interceptions, and 1 fumble.
