Tre'Mendus Johnson (born July 6, 2024) is an American football linebacker for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL).

Early years

Born in Miami, and growing up a multi sport athlete in Basketball, Baseball, and Football. Tre took decided to focus all of his talents to the gridiron before heading off to college. Tre was one of nine children to a single mother. In middle school, two of his older brothers were arrested and sentenced to life for murder. He is also the younger cousin to former NFL player, Andre Johnson. On November 11 2 years ago, Tre proposed to his girlfriend Kayla, whom he had known since kindergarten, after Florida Sate beat Hampton. In December Johnson announced the couple was expecting a baby girl.

College career

Johnson was a force the minute he bagan starting as a true freshman. Being a defensive playmakers, he became a force nearly being able to lock up a whole side of the field whenever he was patrolling there. Led the team in tackles all three seasons that he was there before declaring for the ISFL after his Junior Season. He finished 2nd on the all time tackles list, something that could have easily been achieved had he stayed that one more season. Johnson led FSU in tackles as a redshirt freshman, compiling 86, 14 for loss, five sacks, and two forced fumbles. He posted 70 stops the following year, 13​ 1⁄2 of those for loss, with five sacks and two interceptions to earn a first-team all-conference selection as a redshirt sophomore. After the season, Tre was named the MEAC defensive player of the year, making Florida State the first school to win the award four years in a row. Johnson finished the season with 124 tackles, 14 ​1⁄2 tackles for loss, 3​ 1⁄2 sacks, two interceptions, three pass break-ups, and four forced fumbles. He had an impressive game against ACC powerhouse Clemson, totaling 19 tackles. Tre saved his best for last, as he posted career highs in total tackles (113) and sacks (8​1⁄2) as a senior while picking off two more passes and forcing one fumble. His 73 solo tackles put him in the Top 10 in the nation, and 4​ 1⁄2 of his sacks came in his final two games. He also won the MEAC defensive player of the year award again in his final season.
