Seventh Rounder (born September 16, 2038) is an American football runningback for the Free Agent of the National Simulation Football League (ISFL).

Early years

Seventh Rounder was born on a rainy Sunday in Seattle, Washington state. He grew up playing football as any kid aspires to, and quickly realised he has an aptitude for clumsily smashing through people, if nothing else. Spotting his brute power potential, scouts to all sorts of youth programs were keen to sign him up, and while it's reported that his finer skills never fully developed, what did was his size and strength. From an early age he was blasting other children out of the way to so many 3 yard gains you wouldn't believe. Concerns about his football IQ were raised by his coaches, as his dogmatic insistence that the only true play in football is running inbetween the tackles is something that never died down. Surprisingly, he proved them all wrong and it turns out, at least in his mind, that he was in fact right and that yes, running between the tackles is the most glorious move in the great game of football. He eventually transferred this skill set to high school and beyond, where he became a feared running back from his teenage years.

College career

Rounder got a late start in college, opting to play for a local youth program team until the year he turned 19. Eventually by good fortune he was spotted by a talent scout for Oklahoma State, and signed up to play for them, which he did for two years prior to entering the DSFL. In his first year he started 12 games for the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and put up respectable numbers. He operated as part of a running back committee but still put up 517 yards on the ground and 170 through the air. Touchdowns were eluding him though as he only racked up 4 in his junior year, and he devoted himself to honing his craft of running between the tackles even harder than before to try and break through the goal line more often. As a Sophomore, Rounder was much more effective, although he missed games due to injury. If anything, his smaller game count was a testament to just how hard he can run between to linesmen, as he racked up 559 yards on the ground and 9 TDs in just 82 carries, giving him a monstrous average rushing yardage of 6.8, one of the best seen in college that year. He improved a touch as a passer too, even bringing down a score through the air, although he was always seen as reluctant to engage with the catching game, and insisted on starting his routes by running through the tackles still.
