Rotticus Scott (born October 9, 1998) is an American football cornerback for the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for University of Maine (UMO) before being drafted by the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers in the 2035 DSFL Draft (S20).

Early years

"Born to two classified parents in Portland, Maine. Rotticus attended the Portland School System all the way up through his education. He took a great deal into making money at a young age, and his parents recall his dream job being ""getting paid"". Rotticus attended Portland High School in Portland, Maine. There he was a 4 year letterman, having a nearly undefeated season his senior year, before losing to the Thorton Academy Golden Trojans. Rotticus was not planning to play football after high school, but this heartbreaking defeat lit a fire under him, and he decided to finally listen to the college coaches breaking down his door. Rotticus' recruitment circuit was a wild affair, with just about every university in the New England region offering him a spot on their team. After seeing offers from Boston College, University of Massachussets, and University of Maine, he committed to the University of Maine as a finance major. "

College career

"Rotticus arrived in Orono as a hometown, highly touted recruit. He did not start his Freshman year, but saw rotations as a nickel corner. His sophomore season was for sure his break out, as he allowed just 200 yards to his matchups, revolutionizing Umaine's defense. His 6 picks, and 2 pick sixes started to wake up FBS coaches across the nation, with many of them asking him if he would be interested in joining their schools through the transfer portal. After back to back All-FCS Team nominations his sophomore and junior season, amassing 17 interceptions, and 2 touchdowns over those years, Rotticus had a big decision to make. The NSFL was calling his name, and there was a good chance he could skip the DSFL all together. Rotticus would return to Umaine after his junior year, forgoing the draft, and wanting to bring a championship to Orono. This decision would be a large roadblock for Rotticus, as a devestating dislocated knee injury would keep him on the sidelines, and put his professional football career in jeopardy before it even started. "

Professional career

Rotticus was drafted by the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers in round 14 of the DSFL draft. A small school player, it was quite hard for him to get his name out there to DSFL scouts. Upon joining the Buccaneers, he immediately coined the "No Fly Zone" nickname for Myrtle Beach's secondary. This would prove to be more true than Rotticus ever thought, as that season Myrtle Beach ended up playing good enough to statistically be the best defense in pro football history. Although Rotticus was log jammed behind Dax Frost and HEhateme Picksix, he ended up playing safety besides Warren Stephens and Jeffrey LaVert (Now Prince Vegeta). Although going 12-2 and reaching the ultimini, the loss to the Minnesota Grey Ducks in the championship game was a stab in the heart to Rotticus. With the fire still in his heart, Rotticus began "one of the most insane workout periods we've ever seen in the Sim Football League". Racking up a whopping 52 TPE in the offseason, spring boarding himself into top 20 contention, with some saying he might go in the 1st round. After being contacted by just about every team in the league during the draft process, Rotticus went into draft night with a lot of uncertainty. Some reports had him going in the 1st round, maybe even the top 5 picks, while some reports had him going in the 4th. On draft night, though, his name would be called by his top team, the Colorado Yeti. He would join Immanuel Blackstone, Red Arrow, Dixon Uraz, John Smirh, Alyx Sabor, Gronk Robertowski, and Andrew Nova in Colorado with a great rookie class.

After being drafted, Rotticus and the Yeti front office decided that the young corner would spend a 2nd year in the DSFL, as his lack of game time at corner in 2035 meant he was still extremely raw. Rotticus took no issue with this, as he still had unsettled business in Myrtle Beach, and wanted to go back and win an Ultimini with some of his former teammates. Myrtle Beach had yet another extremely strong draft class with the Season 22 draft, reloading for what looked to be another trip to the Ultimini. After finishing 9-5, and a big away win against the Tijuana Luchadores in the final game of the season, Myrtle Beach was back in the playoffs. This time, they'd have home field advantage throughout the entire bracket, and the Myrtle Beach fans were ravenous. The Buccaneers took down the Norfolk Seawolves in the SFC South championship by a score of 18-0, a classic Buccaneer no fly zone win. The ultimini teams were decided, The Kansas City Coyotes vs the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. After 60 minutes, the Buccs would come out on top, winning 27-10. Rotticus had gone back to Myrtle Beach with one goal, winning the Ultimini, and he had done it. Post game, Rotticus announced to the media that he'd be called up in 2037 to play with the Colorado Yeti, thus ending his career in the DSFL and Myrtle Beach. This came with a heavy heart, as although the next level was always going to be his final goal, he was going to miss Myrtle Beach and the team that made him into a top prospect.
