Roque Santa Cruz (born August 16, 2029) is an American football quarterback who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for None.

Early years

Roque Santa Cruz was born in Asunción, Paraguay, in August 16th, 2029. Despite advancements in technology, nothing really changed in South America after the havoc caused by the COVID Pandemic between 2020 and 2023. The poor became poorer, and the filthy rich became filthier and richer. Roque's family was on the mass. The poor, dirty mass. That is what motivated Santa Cruz. Getting out of poverty. He was playing soccer. The most popular sport in South America. He did not have shoes however. His feet were always bleeding from playing barefoot on the dirt. But it did not phase him. He was looking for a way out. He was always kicking a ball. His pops? Three jobs to barely make ends meet, sometimes four or even five. There would be days he would never even show up home. Momma was busy with Roque's younger siblings. He was practically alone. He had his family's support, but he had to do everything himself.

College career

Roque did not even play football in college. He was an avid soccer player. He could just throw the ball deep. He was chosen by some ISFL scouts who were scouring Latin America, looking for talented players. He tried every position. Kicker, Punter, corner, lineback, d-line, wide out, as a running back. He did not like any of it. He only loved throwing the ball. And carrying it. As a soccer player, he was good doing it all. Shooting, passing, dribbling. The quarterback position was eerily familiar and easy. All he had to do was look downfield and read the play. It was like playing soccer for him. And so it began. He got the nod to join an All-South American team, sponsored by ISFL. The team toured the States. Roque got to face some collegiate legends. He would go toe-to-toe. He has more than proven that he belongs among the elite. And that is why he declared for the draft.
