Rondo Jones (born January 12, 2016) is an American football tight end for the Undrafted of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL). Jones played for West Seattle highschool as a liniebacker and also played Volleyball as a middle blocker. Jones has declared for the DSFL draft and hopes to play at the tight end position.

Early years

Jones was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He later moved to Seattle at the age of 5 with his parents and older brother. Jones was born into a family of athletes, and from a young age was a multi-sport athlete. Once Jones got into West Seattle High School, he was a star in both Football, playing linebacker and volleyball, playing Middle Blocker. Many schools showed interest in his talent for both sports. Jones wished to move far away and took a full ride offer back to his home state to Michigan State University.

College career

College Years

On a full ride scholarship, he went to Michigan State University to play Volleyball. Despite showing promise on the court, Jones got into legal trouble with drug use. He was promptly dropped from the team, leaving the university. Jones decided to stay in Michigan instead of moving back to Seattle with his family. After a few months working and looking into more colleges, Western Michigan University decided to pick him up for their Football Team. Western thought he would be better fit in the tight end position and after tryouts, he joined the team.

Sophomore Year

Jones was still a troublemaker his sophmore year. Because of this, Coach Steve kept him on the bench until he would become a team player.

Junior Year

After showing promise and change within his attitude, he then was made a starter on the team and helped lead the team to a 7-6 year. Jones played in 11 games and had 19 receptions with 150.4 yards. Jones started to mold into a player that would help lead Western Michigan to victory in many of his games.

Senior Year

Jones senior year is when he showed that he had a possible future outside of college playing football. Jones was one highlights of this team and led the Broncos to a 8-5 year. He had 250.4 receiving yards, with 26 receptions, leading the team from the tight end position. In an interview with coach Steve he stated, "Rondo is a player that turned things around, and he has potential to become a great if he continues on the same trajectory". Former quaterback Cousins said "my boy Rondo looked to be a bust once he started, but his athletic build and dedication led him to become my go-to on the field". With Jones standout year, he declared his intent to be drafted into the DSFL.
