Rod's mother worked mulitple jobs just to make sure that her kids were fed, had clothes, went to school, and could get an education. This is why money was and is so important to Rod.Rod Tidwell goes where the money is. SHOW ME THE MONEY says Rod Tidwell.

This helps him acheive the Kwan. Rod Tidwell went to Chandler HS where he was first team all world, not just all state or all country ALL WORLD. He then wen to be a 5-star blue chip player for The Arizona State Sun Devils.

College career

As a true Freshman, Rod Tidwell dominated the Pac-12. He was the best reciever in the country early in his career. He broke Shaun MacDonalds receptions record in his first year with 102 receptions. He also topped the receiving yards record, by catching for over 1,450 yard.

His Sophomore year, was a bit of a down year by Tidwell's standards. This was largely in part due to a ankle strain he sustained at the beginning of the year. It is widely known, thought not official, that this was done due to Tidwell showing off to his then girlfriend, now wife, Marcee. Tidwell was however able to catch 98 passes and gain 1,012 yards.

His Junior year was his best statistical year at ASU. Tidwell was able to catch 112 passes, gain 1,658 yard and a stunning 28 touchdowns. This led him to win the best receiver in the nation and a finalist for season MVP. It was widely known he was going to turn pro.

By the end of Rod Tidwell's career at Arizona State University he was able to catch a total of 412 patches, 4,120 yards, and 58 TDs for his career all records for ASU.

Tidwell is currently a S15 draft pick in the NSFL and is awaiting his DSFL team.
