Rico Savage (born August 2, 2034) is an American football safety who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of South Florida (USF) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Rico Savage was born outside the Nation's Capitol in the suburb of Ashburn in Virginia in the late summer of 2034. Both of his parents were athletes in High School; however, Rico is the first member of his family to be a professional athlete. While a multi-sport star at Loudoun County High School, football was always Rico's number one passion passed on to him from his father, an ardent Arizona Outlaws fan. Initially a QB, Rico soon became a two way star at Loudoun County, where he excelled at reading the opposing QB's thoughts and soon found himself breaking the Virginia State High School record for both season and career INTs. While QB was his first love, Rico knew his future in the ISFL was going to be at the Safety position where he hoped his prior knowledge of QBing would give him the edge he needed to obtain a D1 college scholarship.

College career

Rico's decorated high school career afforded him several D1 offers including Virginia Tech and Univeristy of Maryland. However, Rico was offered early playing time at his father's alma mater in Tampa, Florida at the University of South Florida. As a true freshman, Rico saw the field early and often and was able to secure 5 INTs, a freshman record.

During his sophomore campaign, Rico started out strong with 3 INTs in three games before a high ankle sprain sidelined him for multiple games. Although he came back and finished the season strong, he wasn't able to surpass his previous year's total INTs, again finishing with 5.

With the first ISFL draft Rico was eligible for looming, he was determined to show the scouts his true potential. Needing 8 INTs to break both the USF season record and career record for INTs, Rico put on a defensive clinic in 2053, hauling in 10 INTs and 20 pass breakups, both new records.
