Randy Vuxta is an American football Wide receiver in the Developmental Simulation Football League, who is currently an upcoming prospect in the 2034 DSFL Draft (S19). He played at University of Hawaii-Honolulu in Division II.

Early Years

Randy Vuxta was born at Honolulu State Hospital on August 22, 2014. He was born to Rachel Vuxta and Derek Vuxta. Derek was Randy's high school football coach, and instilled the love of the game from a young age. Randy started out in peewee ball, playing QB and S. As he grew older, Randy began to lean towards running and receiving the ball. In high school, Randy set school records in rushing yards and receiving yards, as well as total touchdowns. Randy played for the Honolulu High Leis, being a starter in his sophomore year. Randy would then go on to become a phenom, only to suffer a PCL tear in his junior year, spending the rest of his junior season and half of his senior season recovering. After the injury, no Division I school would offer Randy a scholarship. Randy went on to accept an offer at University of Hawaii-Honolulu playing Division II football.

College Career

As a true freshman, Randy made an immediate impact for UHH. In his first start, Randy had eight receptions for 96 yards and a touchdown. He added 25 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. This would be the beginning of a good campaign for Randy, as he would go on to post 631 receiving yards on 50 receptions for 13 touchdowns. The Honolulu's were first round exits in the post season.

In his sophomore season, Randy was able to post his highest receiving yards with 868 yards with 72 receptions and 9 touchdowns. The Honolulu's would go on to win the championship at the end of the season.

In his junior year, Randy would have 836 receiving yards on 68 receptions and 14 total touchdowns. Randy's college team made it to the semifinals in his last year, losing to the eventual champions Iowa Tech. Randy ended his college career setting records at University of Hawaii-Honolulu with 190 receptions, 2335 yards, and 21 receiving touchdowns. Randy is fifth in total rushing touchdowns with 12, and was even able to put up 3 special teams touchdowns. Randy chose to enter the DSFL draft after his third year, saying he has done all he needed to at the collegiate level.

DSFL Career

DSFL Draft

Randy entered the 2034 DSFL draft as a mid draft selection due to not boasting the elite level of speed generally favored in the league. Before the draft, Randy was seen creating a bond with fellow rookie Dre Uzond, even going on record saying that Dre is the best CB in the draft. The two seemed to have developed a friendly rivalry. Randy was also seen praising running back Darrel Williams and asking for advice from some of the wide receivers around the league, such as Sweet James Jones.
