Rainier Luftwaffe Wolfcastle (born July 30, 2011) is an American football tight end who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for Santa Monica College (SMC) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

"Rainier Luftwaffe Wolfcastle was born July 30th, 2011, in the small village of Thal in central Austria. His father, retired police officer Gustav Wolfcastle, and mother Auriela lived a quiet life in the countryside which provided Rainier and his elder brother Meinhard plenty of opportunity to build thier muscles working the farm. The two brothers were described as incredibly competitive, each attempting to earn their father's favor. Rainier says, and local accounts agree, that the competition was not a fair one as Gustav clearly preferred Meinhard in nearly all things, potentially because he was not certain Rainier was his biological son.

In school Rainier was not the most gifted student but was well regarded for his friendsly smile, big heart, and natural gift for sport. His strength and speed made him a fast star on the soccer field, but it was clear his interes was in the gym, not the pitch. Wolfcastle was regularly described as the first in the weight room and the last out, and this was not always a complimentary situation. On more than one occasion he was suspended from play by his coaches for skipping practice to spend additional time building his muscles. By the time he finished his secondary education Wolfcastle had already entered and won multiple local bodybuilding competitions and had starred in a bratwurst maker's commercial."

College career

"Rainier began his education at University of Salzburg in 2027 where he studied Theater with a minor in Political Sciences. His muscual frame and charming smile made him a hit among the student body, contemporary reporting from the area indicates he was ""seen with a new girl for each day of the week."" Much to the lamenting of his professors Wolfcastle seemed more focused on his social life and time in the gym than he was on his studies. Despite his charisma and impressive physique he could not make his mark as an actor, his most notable credit earned while in Austria was as the titular character of the budget action series McBain. Despite being poorly recieved in Austria the series caught the attention of a California based production company that wanted Wolfcastle for the film adaptation of the Radioactive Man comics. Against the wishes of his parents Wolfcastle dropped out of university and moved to California to begin his first Hollywood film.

Radioactive Man failed to maintain funding through production and eventually ceased filming altogether. Wolfcastle began part time classes at nearby Santa Monica College to complete an Assosciate's Degree in Political Science where he met a group of young men playing pick-up football games on the campus lawn. He quickly fell in love with the game as it allowed him use his physical presence in ways that soccer could not, and his sure hands meant a lion's share of the passes were thrown his way. Scouts in the area to see student athletes at the nearby Division I programs heard rumors of the Austrian's natural talents for the game, and the small campus was quickly overrun by representatives from nearly every NSFL and DSFL squad. Despite no formal experience it was clear Wolfcastle was filled with untapped potential."
