Early years
ISFL Wide Reciver turned Tight End Penger "Don" Tolliver was born in Oslo, Norway on June 1st 2032, the third brother of his family that took part in the ISFL draft in S40. Unlike his brothers who were born in Toronto, Canada, Penger was born overseas in Norway during a Tolliver family vacation, which is what prompted him to have a Norwegian based name. Both of his brothers, Money Tolliver and Don Tollibeo, were players who specialized in receiving passes, so it was something Penger felt a drive to specialize in too. He followed closely in the steps of his brother Don by making the choice to be a Wide Receiver, and wanted to make sure he could be a threat down deep in the offensive zone for massive catches. Due to his height and bulk, Tolliver was told by coaches that he should consider playing at tight end instead of wide receiver because it would make better use of his size and strength.
College career
Unlike either of his brothers, Penger Tolliver went to College in the University of British Columbia, located in Vancouver, Canada. He joined the football program in UBC immediately upon enrolling, and was a starting wide receiver there from the beginning. In College, Tolliver was quite impressive in his position, showing good speed and route running in the beginning of his time there. However, his commitment was questioned a lot due to the fact that he was not very interested in offers from other Colleges that would provide him better facilities and coaching. Despite this, he did declare for the DSFL draft, stating before the draft that even if he was drafted late, it would be "a career opportunity [he] can't miss" to enter that league if possible. A select few teams were still interested in Penger as a potential project player, so there was intrigue on what team he would end up with, if any, come draft time in 2054.
Professional career
DSFL career
In the DSFL, Tolliver was in fact taken very late in the draft, going 33rd overall in the fifth round to the Bondi Beach Buccaneers.
