The National Simulation Football Conference (NSFC) is one of the is one of the two conferences of the National Simulation Football League (NSFL) in a professional American football league. This conference and its counterpart, the American Simulation Football Conference (ASFC), currently contain 4 teams each, making up the 8 teams of the NSFL. Both conferences were created in inagurual season of 2016 (S1) with 6 teams. Conferences expanded twice in 2017 (S2), which added Philadelphia Liberty to the NSFC, and in 2031 (S16) which added the Chicago Butchers

Season Format

The NSFC season format consists of a four-week preseason, a fourteen-week regular season (each team plays 13 games), and a four-team single-elimination playoff culminating in the Ultimus Bowl, the league's championship game.

History

Both the NSFC and ASFC were created during the inaugural year of 2016 (S1). During NSFL season 2 expansion draft one more team joined the NSFC - Philadelphia Liberty. 14 years later in the Season 16 Expansion Draft the conference added the Chicago Butchers

The first title was won by the Colorado Yeti and it is their only title to this day. After that, we had a period of back to back titles: Yellowknife Wraiths (2017 (S2), 2018 (S3)) followed by Baltimore Hawks (2019 (S4), 2020 (S5)) and Philadelphia Liberty (2021 (S6), 2022 (S7)). After that Yellowknife won one more ASFC Championship in 2023 (S8). Starting in season 9, the Hawks completed the first ever three-peat in NSFC history, ranging from 2024 (S9) to 2026 (S11). The Baltimore Hawks lead the conference in NSFC Championship appearances with 12 separate Appearances. The Baltimore Hawks are also the only NSFC team to win multiple Ultimus Bowls
