Killian Chambers (born October 18, 2017) is an American football wide receiver who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for New Mexico and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Chambers was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Raised by only his mother, he lived in 8 different places in 10 years, including in a tent when he was homeless. Chambers took an immediate liking to sports as a way to distract himself from his living situation. In his youth, he pretended to be ISFL wide receiver Alexandre LeClair, throwing the football to himself and having his mother make commentary. After joining the middle school football team, Chambers stopped playing once he entered high school. He points to him working nearly full time at 15 to help support his mother as why he took a break. Coming into his junior year, he joined the football team and started working fewer hours. He had an immediate impact, helping J. P. Wynne achieve a 13–1 record and win the 2034 state championship. With the significant role he played in his team's success, Chambers was viewed as one of the top WR prospects in New Mexico entering his senior season. On August 22nd, 2035, a week before the season opener, his mother died from a drug overdose[1]. He was devastated by the death of his mother, and considered quitting football. After missing the season opener, Chambers rejoined the football team and started the next week. He struggled early on, frequently running wrong routes and dropping passes. This came to a head in week 5 when he caught a pass and ran towards the opposite end zone, scoring a safety for the opponent. This game was live-streamed, and a clip of the play went viral totaling over 500,000 views on social media. Chambers saw decreased playing time the rest of the season, with his team failing to match last year's record, finishing 4-7.

College career

Planning to work at a local taco shop for the foreseeable future, Chambers was surprised when he received an athletic scholarship to attend the University of New Mexico. He recalled this moment in an interview, stating "I was like, is this a joke? Did you see the season I had?"

Freshman Season (2036) As a true freshman, Chambers made an immediate impact on special teams. In a week 8 game against Utah, he blocked a potential game winning field goal. Playing in 9 games, he recorded 5 receptions for 62 yards.

Sophomore Season (2037) Chambers got off to a quick start recording 30 receptions for 490 yards through the first five games. His season got derailed in practice next week when he suffered a torn Achilles and was out the rest of the year.

Junior Season (2038) Coming off his torn Achilles, expectations for Chambers were lowered. He got off to a modest start recording only nine receptions for 129 yards in his first three games. Things turned around when he posted an incredible 216 yard and three touchdown performance in week 4 against Arizona. His hot streak continued next week against in-state rival New Mexico State when he broke the school's all-time record for receiving yards in a single game with 269. In the final game of the year, Chambers had a solid outing with 7 receptions for 124 yards and a touchdown. After the season, Chambers announced that he would forgo his senior year and enter the 2039 DSFL Draft.
