Kevin Fakon (born March 28, 2013) is an American football runningback who is currently unsigned by a professional team. He played college football for University of Florida (UF) and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Kevin Fakon was born outside Miami to an extremely poor family with 4 older siblings, all girls. Kevin's father worked for a concrete company and expected Kevin to help with the work on weekends and Summer holidays. Kevin claims he got his work ethic from his father. After getting into a major fight at school which resulted in his expulsion, Kevin was sent to the only school that would take him; Hialeah Senior High School. Described as the worst time of his life, Kevin did his best to get back on the right track and joined the school basketball team. When asked by his coach about the incident Kevin only stated "I did the right thing. God knows, my mum knows, and I'm not concerned with anybody else." While decent, Kevin wasn't good enough to get into college on a basketball scholarship. He took the advice of his coach and joined the football team. Colleges noticed and Kevin earned a sports scholarship at the University of Florida. Kevin was devastated when his mother died of a sudden stroke one week after he arrived at the University of Florida. His now wife Gloriana helped him through his grieving process and their first child was born in 2034.

College career

Kevin was a backup his first year, and did well his rookie season after the starting RB for the gators tore his ACL in week 5. Kevin stepped into a position no one thought he was ready for. His talent showed through and after a tough offseason, he started the next 2 seasons and only missed one game due to the birth of his daughter. A strong, large back like Kevin had one job; run the ball as hard as hard as possible. He kept defences honest with 69% of his runs going straight up the A gap. Kevin averaged 3.6 yards after contact and tired out opposition defences with his hard hitting style. While his first season as a starter wasn't very good, he improved massively and had a 1300 yd 14td season before declaring for the draft. Many scouts have shown interest in Kevin but we'll have to see what the DSFL has in store for him. With expansion happening in the league, Kevin Fakon has stated that he would be interested in playing for an expansion team, as he's made it clear he wants to be a starter.

After being drafted by the Kansas City Coyotes with pick number 21 Kevin showed up in a big way. His rookie season with the Coyotes yielded 1042 yards and 9 touchdowns. Impressive all season, Kevin never missed a game and won 3 player of the week awards. After 1 season with Kansas, Fakon was drafted by the new expansion team, the Sarasota Sailfish. Kevin is expected to play one more season in the DSFL before being called up as a true powerback. Kevin found a new home in the locker room at Kansas City. His new team mates welcomed him with open arms, and Kevin was all to happy to be a friendly locker room presence. Kevin Fakon's best performance of his rookie season came in week 6 of the DSFL season, when he rushed for 93 yards and 3 touchdowns, including a 46 yard lumbering TD to close out the game. The performance earned him another offensive player of the week award. It seemed like Fakon and his trusty RB2 Nova just couldn't be stopped. Kevin made it fairly clear to many scouts that he wished to play in the DSFL for one more season, and was subsequently drafted in round 10 of the NSFL draft by the Sarasota Sailfish, a brand new expansion team. The Sailfish respected Kevin's wishes and sent him back down to the DSFL for one more season. Kevin hopes to break several Kansas City records this season, and will be looking to reliable veterans on the team to help him get there.
