Kellan Frost (born June 17, 2025) is an American football defensive end who is currently preparing to enter the professional ranks. He played college football for University of Western Ontario and has declared his intent to enter the professional ranks next season.

Early years

Born Kellan Cillian Frost to Jason and Laurie Frost in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Kellan's father was a firefighter for 25 years at a local station while Laurie is an RN at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. Frost's older brother, Cillian played ice hockey for the Thunder Bay North Stars in the Superior International Junior Hockey League before playing at Confederation College. Frost played hockey til the age of 13 but later became passionate about football and gave up hockey to concentrate on one game.

He attended St. Patrick's High School where he also played basketball and baseball, apart from participating in track and field events. During his senior year in High School, Frost made it to the first-team 'All-County' and 'All-Conference' selections as a tight end. Frost won the 'Ontario Player of the Year Award' and was named the team's 'Most Valuable Player'. Kellan was an avid sports enthusiast but enjoyed following his favorite NFL team, the Buffalo Bills the most when he was younger. He always dreamed he would be able to play football at the professional level.

College career

Coming out of St. Patrick High School, Frost was rated as a three-star recruit by various recruiting services. Frost started his collegiate career as a tight end recruit for the Western Ontario Mustangs. Frost's ankle was injured in his Freshman year and the recovery process took him all the way until his Junior year. He did not play a single collegiate game until mid-way in his Junior year. At this point, the Western Ontario Mustangs have stocked up on other tight end option leaving no room for Frost to make an impact. Kellan was asked by head coach Jack Dobbs to switch to a defensive position as there was more for a need. Dobbs recalled Frost's switch to the defensive side of the ball, "In all my years coaching I've never seen anything like. He (Kellan Frost) just has athleticism oosing from him he could practically play any position on the field."

After just his sixth game of the season, Frost had led all players in the league in sacks and forced fumbles with playing 5 less games. By the end of his Junior year, Frost had won defensive player of the year while playing half a season. His senior year was more of the same, finishing with 62 total tackles and 13.5 sacks. Additionally, he recorded 2 interceptions and a touchdown during the game against school rival, Ottawa University. Immidiately following the final game of his collegiate career, Frost announced on Instagram he would enter the S33 ISFL Draft.
