Juniped "Sonic" Catfish (born November 8, 1994) is an American football runningback for the Norfolk Seawolves of the Developmental Simulation Football League (DSFL). He played college football for North Carolina State University (NCSU) before being drafted by the Norfolk Seawolves in the 2035 DSFL Draft (S20).

Early years

"Born in Los Angeles, CA, Juniped was never a very intimidating kid, in fact the kids on the playground used to say he looked like a cuddly bear. So he was never going to find success vs the larger and more intimidating kids. Instead when playing backyard football at school he made it his goal to be the fastest. And so we he, faster than all the other kids on the playground. He never thought much of it in Elementary but when he got to High School he tried out for the team, and while he couldn't catch a ball very well, his coach told him not to worry about it, but just to run. So run he did, faster than everyone else, at least at his High School

In High School he and his family moved to North Carolina where they lived in the Rural mountains. He didn't adjust quite well but joined the High Scool team there. He was a second string RB until his Senior Year where he was able to help his team have their first winning season in 20 years. He Graduated at the top of his class but still never had large aspirations to take his Football Career much further."

College career

Juniped attended College at NCSU where his parents attended, but instead of becoming an engineer like them he majored in Finance. While he was not quite sure about the football team he decided to attend walk on try outs, and to his surprise he made the team as a Freshman. He was in fact super intimidated by all the other players in college, especially the scholarship kids, but he was so intimidated he just ran faster to get away from them. He ran and he ran and he ran, nobody has ever seen anyone who could run as fast as he could at least within a 200 foot radius of the field and on the same team as him. He wasn’t the star, or even the second star but his coach always said he was “a solid contributor”. In his Junior Year he became the starting Runningback and to his surprise began to help his team reach new heights, including a playoff berth they had missed 5 years in a row. He quicly climbed the rankes and started attracting some eyes around his skill. It was raw but workable according to scouts. His senior year he sped up even more, and started to refine his speed and work on his endurance and ability to evade the defenders. He was able to work his way up from being a walk on member to attracting more attention as the draft drew closer.
