Jordan Bamford (born December 5, 2034) is an American football wide receiver for the Portland Pythons in the DSFL

Early years

Jordan Bamford was on December 5, 2034 in Sacramento California. He was born to Jackson Bamford, a minor league pitcher for the Sacramento Shopping Malls and Veronica Mickenson, a luxury vehicle salesman. Jordan has two older brothers but he was split up from when his parents got divorced when he was 4. Jordan moved to East Nags, North Carolina with his dad and his brothers stayed with their mom. Due to his failures to become a major league pitcher, Jordan's dad was determined to get Jordan started on baseball as early as possible. Jordan was the number to pitching prospect in North Carolina going into his junior year of high school but he didn't enjoy the game anymore. After watching his older brother play in a football game Jordan fell in love with the game. In his senior year Bamford played both baseball and was the starting qb for his high school team. He had immense success as a pitcher and had a solid year in football leading the team to a loss in the state championship. Although Jordan was flooded with baseball scholarships he decided to walk on at Sac State as a qb.

College career

Jordan walked on as a true freshman and made the roster as a 4th string quarterback. He decided to attempt a position change and due to his great athleticism he managed to successfully become a reciever. In his limited role as a freshman he ammased 286 yards and 2 touchdowns. Althogh his somphore campaign was cut short due to a 5 game suspension for fighting, he still got 86 receptions for 991 yards and 17 touchdowns. Jordan lead the team to a rose bowl victory in his senior year and finished with 1781 receiving yards 23 touchdowns and 154 receptions. In the rose bowl Bamford put up an exemplary display with 11 catches for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns and scored a 84 yard rushing touchdown to win the game. He achieved first-team All-American honors, was voted team MVP, won the Fred Biletnikoff Award, and was second place in heisman voting.

S43

Jordan Bamford was picked in the 2nd round with pick 10 by the Portland Pythons. Bamford started the year as the wr3 but after impressing he was quickly moved to wr2. Portland started the year as the team to beat with blowout victories over the Grey Ducks, Coyotes, and Buccaneers to start the year. Bamford’s best game of the season came against the Luchadores accumulating 5 catches for 74 yards and a touchdown in a victory over Tijuana. While Bamford didn’t put up great stats he was still an important part of Portland’s elite 11-3 campaign. The Pythons entered the playoffs as heavy favorites to win it all, but first, they had to get past the Coyotes in the Conference Championship. Portland would go on to crush the Coyotes 31-14 and move on to play in the Ultimini. In the Ultimini they continued their dominance with a 33-10 victory over Tijuana, in that game Bamford made 4 catches and led the team with 58 receiving yards. Overall Bamford had a successful season with the 13th most receiving yards in the league in his rookie season along with the 14th most receptions. While he may not have been the best rookie receiver a rookie season Ultimini victory is still a great start.

S44

In his sophomore season, Bamford became the WR1 due to the callup of former teammate Sam Mercury. Portland picked up major defensive help during the draft but got worse on offense. Once, again Portland was dominant to start the season going 3-0 to start with 3 dominant wins including putting up 51 on Bondi Beach. However, they lost three straight afterwards becoming 3-2 on the season. When the season seemed lost, when the naysayers were returned from the shadows, the Pythons sent them right back to the shadows with a blowout 30-0 over the Snorfolk Seawolves. In that dominant game, Bamford had the best statline of his career accumulating 7 catches for 113 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Pythons won every game for the rest of the season excluding a crushing loss against former Ultimini opposition Tijuana. Entering the playoffs, the Pythons sat atop the weak north with a record of 11-3 which was tied with the Luchadores for the best record in the league. In the conference championship, they faced the 6-8 Kansas City Coyotes who they crushed 30-6. So, once again, the Ultimini was the Tijuana Luchadores vs the Portland Pythons, however this time the Luchadores were the favorites. In the Ultimini Bamford scored a touchdown, sadly though, it was a 37-20 loss for the Portland Pythons. Bamford got over 1000 yards on the season and received Pro Bowl honors with fellow Portland WR Mattrim Cuathon. A big statistical step up for Bamford in his second season but a step up without an Ultimini to show for it

After his second season in the DSFL, Bamford was called up to help the Outlaws in the ISFL. He played a minor role, filling the WR4/TE role. Over the season, Bamford accumulated 39 receptions for 286 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Outlaws went 9-7 during the season securing themselves a playoff spot. Bamford had some good games, securing 4 catches for 32 yards and a touchdown against the Fire Salamander, and in a must win game against the Butchers, Bamford had his best performance of the year with 4 catches for 40 yards. While Bamford's stats may not have been great, Arizona's receiver trio of Bamford, fellow rookie Thomas Sutha, and Benji Aguilera developed into one of the most exciting trio's in the league. In the playoffs, Arizona lost 19-41 in a blowout against the Copperheads and Bamford's former QB Jay Cue III. In the game Bamford only managed to amass 1 catch for 4 yards.

S46

With the retirement of Arizona legend Captain Billy Stinkwater, Bamford was slated to take a much bigger role in the potent Arizona offense. Bamford immediately showed why he went in the first round with a string of good performances to start the season, topped off by a career game against the Copperheads in W3, in which Bamford managed 113 yards and a touchdown. His dominant sophomore season continued with 2 touchdowns against the Fire Salamanders in W5 and 121 yards against the Otters in W9. By the end of the season, Bamford had solidified himself as one of the best young wide receivers in the league being 6th in receptions, 16th in yards, and 7th in touchdowns. Arizona headed into the playoffs at the #1 seed in the ASFC, with should have been MVP QB Donovan Winters coming off one of the most efficient seasons of all time. In the conference championship, Arizona trounced Austin 38-17 and headed to the Ultimus where Arizona won beating Yellowknife 14-6 in a defensive showdown. Bamford had a crucial part in those victories with 73 yards and a TD against Austin and 36 yards in the Ultimus. Bamford now had a ring in both the DSFL and the ISFL
